My friend was a retired airline pilot from back in the 'good old days'. He would never fly on the budget airlines because he said you have no real idea who is sitting up at the pointy end. More importantly neither has the airline. A lot of them are not directly employed by the airline anymore. Perhaps Jaymo would comment on this.

The way prices of powder and primers are going (if you can get them) your stash may well be worth a sizeable amount of money

This country haemorrhages money because there are so many ways of transferring money legally

Equity release is a posh name for a high interest second mortgage. If he has nobody to leave his money to then it makes perfect sense. He should get proper advice though
-
He wrote a book a couple of years ago and it's a very honest and truthful story about the reality of addiction. He didn't pull his punches and told it how it was. I recommend you all read it.

A lot of people in this country now have another country in which they have family or cultural origins. Rather than having savings in this country they send money 'home' to invest it there. It's comparatively easy to move money beyond the reach of HMRC. You only have to look at the number of shops with Western Union or similar signs outside them. Especially in cosmopolitan areas. I'm told ( I don't know if it's true) that one of the reasons that the Post Office stopped doing pre paid cash cards was because they were being used to move money out of the country.

No doubt lots of people do

Where to take dead birds in the Cambridge area

Strange as it sounds I was told by one of my shooting friends that you need some sort of food hygiene licence to pass on any shot meat these days? I don't know if that is correct but somebody who knows more than I do can elaborate -
Yes I should have said on the same axle. The other thing is that some of the space saver tyres look like the could possibly be crossply because they are so rigid.
-
It has to be remembered that a space saver is not a spare wheel . It is an emergency wheel only. Even if it is supplied by the manufacturer it is stlii illegal to drive a car on the road with different size wheels or tyres. Despite the fact that we often see cars driving round with them on its a tricky issue

This has always been a problem with kit cars. Even the "good" ones are such a mixture of odd parts from who knows where. Identifying them is a real challenge. My mate was a fan of two seater open topped kit cars and had several over the years but spent most of his time sorting out problems like the one in the OP

Electric cars are driving up insurance costs. Even if you dont drive one the risk is still there that you might run into one. They cost an absolute fortune to repair for even a minor knock because the battery damages very easily

The number of times I have sent messages to sellers on guntrader and not got a reply back leads me to wonder if the message ever got through

Best band front men/women (excluding solo acts)

It's got to be, even if only on the basis of Live Aid. Best ever But probably for the long term its Jagger although I don't actually like him -
And Elvis. Nothing was ever said about him. Even after he died. Only now is it coming out. How many others?

Are you trying to say that a decision on a case as high profile as Saville would not have been run past the boss ? He can SAY that he didn't know anything about it but it's pretty inconceivable that it wasn't sent upstairs because of the magnitude of the implications. In fact, I believe the Saville case was dropped precisely because of the pressure from on high. Too many people in high places would be brought down by the fallout. Which means Starmer would have been leaned on

Biden is not going to try and help sort out the problem. He is going to bolster his support from the very strong and influential Jewish lobby back in the States. There is an election coming over there remember . He is playing to the home voters and the doners to his election campaign

This ^^^^ And they didn't care who they were or where they came from. When people come to this country as migrants they bring more than the clothes in their suitcase. They bring their attitudes, beliefs, prejudices and hates as well.

Scottish Health Board to make reparations for Slavery Links

My ancestors were slaves of a kind. They were agricultural workers. There were many forms of slavery back then -
Had both mine yesterday. No side effects so far. Touch wood

It's never been about cutting an hour off the journey. It's about having extra track to run trains on that don't have to keep stopping on the way. We are desperately short of track capacity in this country And also to run freight on at night. Which earns money for the railway companies but it has to be done at night because freight trains don't run as fast as passenger trains and a fast train can't overtake a slow train
-
This country has a railway network that was basically laid out when Queen Victoria was on the throne. OK the trains look more modern and the stations have had a make over but its still so far out of date and we can't run enough trains to cope with the demand that's potentially there. We need not only HS2 we need a lot more besides Compare what we have with the rail systems in France or Germany and you see how much catching up we have to do. Cancelling the Northern section of HS2 is just plain wrong

My friend who is an RFD says Holts won't take in any stalking rifles at present because they can't sell the ones they have got. It's like standing on the beach watching the tide go out. We have had members of our club cry off going on the monthly trip to Bisley this summer because they cant get primers to load ammo.
