  1. I can remember buying Frank Dyke cartridges in plastic Fiocchi cases around mid 70s before they vanished. I suspect by that time they were loaded by Hull
  2. So lets get this right?, a scammer puts a fake picture of a .22 CZ on Guntrader, you see it, transfer the money and post your FAC to somebody you don't know from Adam. They then use your FAC (with a slot for a .22 on it) to actually go out and buy a .22 illegally. And then they disappear with your FAC, the illegal .22 and your money. Leaving you to explain what happened to your FEO........... Makes perfect sense, can't see a problem with that

    ENG v DEN

Well with Schmeichel in goal we were never likely to win a shootout. I still don't think it was a fair penalty, a technical penalty perhaps but the game massively pivoted on it. Much the same as Grealish who has perfected the technique of swerving in front of a player and stopping so the player runs into his back. Other than that it was a really good game, bags of commitment from both sides

    ENG v DEN

definitely not a penalty in my opinion but both sides were diving . My son was at the match, just waiting for the call to pick him up from the station. He will be hyper when he gets in
  5. They look like laminate rather than damascus but it certainly dates the gun as being a whole lot older than you first thought and they are the original barrels right enough. They would have been browned rather than blued originally
  6. If you leave wasps alone they will leave you alone.
  7. It sounds to me like a hostile take over is being planned. Thats about the only reason somebody would be trawling for shares
  8. If we let the SAS (etc) train by going to places like Kenya tracing and intercepting poachers it would be a win -win.
  9. you can't go far wrong with any of them Superb value for money, not that long ago you would have to put a naught on the end of the price to get a scope that good but still without the features. The only downside is it really goes to demonstrate the devastating efficiency of Chinese manufacturing to blow the rest of the World Wide opposition out of the water, Nobody in the West can hope to compete with those prices and eventually they will drive the likes of S&B and Zeiss to the wall Then we will have no choice. Don't be completely fooled by the very cheap prices, I think they could charge a lot more, so why don't they? I can only see one reason???
  10. Not round here the don't its all trap and release. Otherwise they then have the problem of legally disposing of the dead fox
  11. Probably not for a speed 30 but you could if it were more serious.
  12. You are supposed to inform your insurance company as soon as you get the points, I doubt if many people do
  13. A hammer gun is very unlikely to have been made by a London gunmaker later than WW1. There was still a market for them as some people preferred the safety of a hammer but usually gamekeepers. I think that gun is much older than you believe, and has been rebarreled / sleeved and nitro proofed. A london made gun but its got Birmingham proof marks.
  14. More important is its probably going to be a requirement for your travel insurance, nobody has mentioned that so far

    UKR V ENG

Much better game than the one against Germany in my opinion
  16. I would like things to get back to normality as soon as possible and idiots like the Scotland fans, most of which didn't even have tickets, are preventing it happening
  17. Yes actually it does matter, the whole idea of lockdown is to stop the rate of transmission. Not least because every time the virus transmits it increases the risk of a more serious mutation evolving. Frankly, I really don't care if they live or die, couldn't care less in fact . While they are out infecting each other like that the R rate remains above ! and we remain under lockdown Totally innocent business owners are forced to stay closed. All of our lives remain under lockdown because of people like them driving up the R rate
  18. Many years ago we walked round the old British cemetery in Freetown Sierra Leone reading the gravestones, some from a hundred years before. Hundreds of young colonial workers most of whom had "died of fever" They never had the luxury of vaccination. Probably yellow fever I suspect but the graves catalogued decades of premature death.
  19. COVID-19: Nearly 2,000 cases linked to Scotland fans watching Euro 2020 games | UK News | Sky News and thats only the Scotland fans, do we assume a similar rate of infection among the England fans?
  20. Its not the UK saying you need to be vaccinated its a condition set by the country you wish to visit. So what has legality got to do with it? Looking at America and the conditions they already place on people wanting to get a visa, nobody complains about that. Countries can impose any rules they like
  21. 99 to 1 chance they have never even heard of the general licence, much less its finer points never try to explain, you will only dig yourself a hole
