  1. problems here too, i didnt notice any but the gf and some of the ones in work were complaining about their phones
  2. Geoff Edmond, RSPCA inspector for the Scarborough area, said it was ‘appalling’ and ‘completely illegal’ to shoot birds looks like im gonna be locked up on several hundred counts of muder against crows, pigeons, jackdaws, magpies, starlings, ducks and pheasants then  THEYLL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!!
  3. its not so dark anymore zapp, we got electric lights put in anyway is it too early to hope for positive change yet? itd be great if some day i could turn round and be proud that i go out to work, instead of feeling like an idiot when i look at a few of my mates who are too lazy to get a job (and have admitted it) swanning about in brand new designer clothes, drinking in the pub every night and flashing (my) cash at every opportunity they get
  4. any particular reason you want high vel's? anyway buy a selection of different ammo (subs, standard and high v) and see whats best. my 10/22 used to love yellow jackets, but then it started throwing them all over the place over 80 yards so i moved onto remington target rounds, cycles them no problem (apart from the odd duff round ) ps what type of 22lr you got? subs arent the answer to everything 22lr related, my 10/22 hates them, itll jam on every 2nd eley, and cci rounds block everything up with unburnt powder
  5. doubt it, youre english
  6. let me guess, too squemish?? B)
  7. did you get it as a warning that youre carrying a small calibre in your pants??

  9. i think some of the essex boys are into cottaging, theyll help you out
  10. congrats! its never too soon to get an fac might be an idea to get someone to go out with you a few times and show you the ropes, even if they dont bring a gun it can be useful having someone take a look and pointing out safe shots, etc
  11. the front of the barrel doesnt protrude enough, looks more like a colt 1911 to me... nice tattoo anyway
  12. cheers found those last night, ill be giving them a ring in a couple of weeks when pay day arrives
  13. so where can i get some of that then?
  14. exactly, finally someone else who appreciates my genius
  15. single trigger or double trigger? if its double trigger is he putting a finger on each trigger? and if its single trigger is it one immediately after the other, or both at the same time?
  16. funnily the crown on the 10/22 got damaged and i blamed that rod, so i relegated it to a box and used a bore snake, does the job. but it got resurrected today to scrub the hmr, did a good job but i wont be using it much, not taking the chance on wrecking the hmr with it! found these earlier, they any good? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hoppes-Universal-Bor...db#ht_500wt_956 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_500wt_956

not enough more like it i rarely watch it, but dont mind him. its a bit too showy for my liking, but i grew up watching bushtucker man as a kid name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="480" height="385"> sas survival guide is good, only problem is im had to dissuade a couple of my mates who wanted to go into the local forest park and try out some of the things described in it
  18. im putting the brush in from the breach/chamber, was always told never to put it from the muzzle or youll mess up the crown. and the cleaning kit fits 22lr and 17hmr (the rod takes different attachments), but the only bit i have to hold patches is for the 22lr - ive had the kit 4 years, in that time its been through two house moves and several ex's so god only knows where the hmr bit went
  19. funny i was thinking a bottle of red aftershock and some glow sticks ill get you for that!! ps it was halloween a couple of years ago, we were up to a bit of badness and didnt want to get caught, so i swapped my dracula costume for camo i just forgot about the glow in the dark face paint...
  20. did a full clean earlier, scrubbed with the copper brush (carefully) tho couldnt get any patches through as the jag was too wide for the 17 (for a 22) so pulled through a few times with the bore snake. ill be getting a proper hmr cleaning kit soon but hopefully thatll have it sorted
  21. thanks everyone. i changed scope mounts last night and im going to give the gun a full clean later today, the cleaning kit i have for the 22 has bits to fit the hmr (i think ) and ill stick plenty of patches through too. havnt ruled the scope out yet, im waiting on a new mount to arrive, once it comes ill fit the laser on, so if by some chance its the scope ill see the laser dot bouncing around the cross hairs next time i go out
