  1. thanks for the reply Oly i decided on a Winchester model 70 coyote lite in .22/250 which cot me £570 (new) and a good quality banner 4200 scope which was £350 new i am well chuffed with my purchases but thanks for the input the reason i decided against the A-bolt was its weight bloody heavy  cheers sean
  2. I am in the market for a good quality .22/250 for under a £1000 and that has got to include sound moderator and scope. come on guys i will be interested to see what you think i am interested in the Browning A-bolt with a thumb hole stock Also what moderator i dont really want a T8 they have a bit to much of a ring to them i will also be interested to see what you reccomend on the scope front too Cheers sean
  3. I cant believe how many posts there are on this site about anything other than pigeon shooting now i know where to come if i need info on anything other than shooting cheers sean
  4. Not a lot i have seen you shoot :( :( And they let you SHOOT A FIREARMS
  5. i have a friend that had a American pit bull for 15 years and i know for a fact that she was a loyal and friendly companion she never bit anyone ok she might jump up but the worst she would do would be to lick you with her tail shaking like mad I believe its the way you bring them up, like a child if you give it love, time and affection it grows into a responsible member of the family if you treat it with disrespect, beat it and abuse it then i am afraid it wears a hoody and mugs old people the same with a dog ANY dog give it love and respect and treat it well and you will have a well mannered dog, yet miss treat it and you have got a lunatic with teeth on an A.S.B.O. rampage I think bring back the dog Licence and make it at a price that only serious dog owners would pay ie £150 and other rules like all dogs to be insured and chipped going to stop now before i get right on my bucket Cheers sean
  6. See now you made me go and do it this is someone who is **** at clays Look at Anthony Poolman he wins the Mitsubishi world series at the Midland Game Fair and has shot over 5000 Pigeons in 2006 Now he is quite good at both :o Cheers Sean
  7. Unfortunately there is and as a knee jerk reaction they will ban them or make them f.a.c. thats what you get when you have people with no respect for others cheers sean
  8. Hi, without being rude, when i read on how good the scores are with all you clay shooters i am glad you dont all go pigeon shooting there would be none left. not only are you all hitting consistantly high scores i should like to imagine we will walk the next Olympics with so many fantastic shots in this country cheers sean Happy Birthday to Mrs P ripe old age of 111 :happybday:
  9. Just wondering if anyone was going to this as i think its a trophy day I am thinking about it but i have a dilema boxing day with inlaws or shooting? i could combine them i suppose and shoot the in-laws cheers sean
  10. Cranfield, i take it this was the Martin gorse shooting ground that you went to, i also have been frequenting this ground through out the year and must say i have to agree with you there is more to shooting live quarry its not just the shooting that appeals to me its also the fieldcraft and me verses the cunning woodie. cheers sean
  11. proberly the little Italian who made it. it sounds like a friday night special to me! because your be dead lucky to get an Italian working late on a Friday night to finish what he's doing so he rushes it and therefore doesnt do it correctly cheers sean
