  1. Please,,please tell us the WORD. I,m dying to know what it is,,how many letters is it ? Go on ,,go on,,you know you want to.
  2. Its all steel construction,,looks pretty solid and I'll be testing them tomorrow on both a bouncer and a rotary. Some shorter fixing screws will be better than the hefty ones provided.
  3. I've just ordered a couple myself and believe the ID is 6mm so I doubt that the OD is more than 8mm.
  4. OUT and those who want to stay in should pack their bags and go to their promised land !
  5. As our language becomes impoverished, our thinking shrinks to fit !
  6. This is life size. Bunny target.pdf
  7. Nice to see,,,we use Trammel nets all the time now,,4 sections of 50yrds each will cover the trickiest warren. I couldn't face all that bending, setting and picking up purse nets.
  8. Do you have any idea where I can source "Kleena" 1/2" wads from please. I have some strange fibre things with a thin card attached to each side which I usually have to cut down a little to get the stack height correct.
  9. If its the same as an old 302,,PM me an address and I'll pop a few stainless clips in the post for you. They seem to have an ID of aprox 0.9mm. I got them from this seller on that auction site " bargainbitz1 They are external circlips which seem to be stronger than C-clips.
  10. But you can fix a small freezer bag of chilli powder over the end of the blank,,,,,,,pure chemical warfare !!!!
  11. Thanks for all the advice chaps,,I'm downloading CS2 now to take a look,,,with a view to get Elements later if it proves to be too tricky for the lady novice.
  12. The Ladywife takes quite a lot of pictures with a trusty Cannon 60D but of late has expressed a wish to do some slightly more advanced editing etc. Its been suggested that the Photoshop Elements 11 would cover most of the needs of an amateur and is reasonably easy to use. Apparently it can process RAW data which I believe is a "good thing". Should we get it ?
  13. A brand new Beretta A302 made to the same standards of quality as the original,,thats all !
  14. I counted the shot from each cartridge and visually compared them, the Fiocchi were clearly larger than the Eley, If I think on I'll measure them later today.
  15. Strangely,,I opened a couple of cartridges yesterday afternoon to check the shot count and found that the Fiocchi Pigeon 32g No.6 had aprox 280 in it. The Eley 30g No.6 branded by Swillingtons had,,,,,,,,,,,,you guessed it,,,,,,,aprox 280 in it,,,all quite smaller than the Fiocchi. Either the Fiocchi has oversize shot or that Eley has small ones.
  16. Yes,,I use one of those and the results are as neat as one could wish.
  17. http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=101242 The above link shows just how to do it.
  18. It looks like a shouldered solid pin which is secured at the wide end with some sort of glue or bonding agent.
  19. I;ve been getting one or two "soft strikes" recently with the trusty Beretta,,mostly with Fiocchi PL32 carts so I thought that after more than two decades use the firing pin may need replacing. They are cheap enough from Brignoliarmi.com but I wonder if anyone has done it on here and could tell me how to remove the retaining pin from the bolt assembly which seems to have some glue bonding it in place. I suspect heat would soften it but I'm not sure what to use to re-fix the pin. Any ideas ?
  20. I've got one of these folding Cogswell and Harrison 12 bores doing nothing,,,If the OP fancies it for £50 he's welcome.
  21. I too have no objection to the moderation of a private forum,,but I do strongly object to laws in this country which prohibit me expressing my views in public in relation to various groups/races and thereby force the moderation as we experience it on here. That is the true restriction of free speech !!
  22. A piece of bicycle inner tube is all you need. There are all sizes from very thin "roadie" type to extra wide downhill MTB ones.
