  1. Look great, I do mine on a metal skewer @200 deg C for 10 - 12 minutes, I place the skewers over an oven baking tin and pour 1/2 cup of boiling water in the bottom of the tin as it goes in the oven, the steam from the water keeps the chicken moist.

  2. Looks superb, if you go near a Lidl, grab some of their caramelised onion sausages as they are cheap and superb, you can also get caramelised onion chutney from Tesco which is sublime with most pork dishes but great on a cheese sandwich as well.

I’m looking at it now and still amazed at the quality and condition

Had 2 of these for far more years than I care to remember, used for a semi pro pest control job and neither gun ever let me down despite both being bought second hand, quality is sublime, accuracy is such that it can embarrass guns 3 times the price (LW Barrel), charge to 170 bar then count out 60 pellets into a container, re charge when the last pellet is used - you will get bored of one hole groups at real world ranges.

  4. Quite surprised this took so long to sell, despite all the ultra modern guns sporting all the bells and whistles along with their Carlos Fandango plenum chambers and rows of pointless gauges - the S410 is a legend and just quietly does the job, time and time again.

My Mrs. watches Masterchef. It irritates me the way they faff on arranging food artistically and making it look pretty.  So unnecessary.

I agree peppers do bring more than colour.

Apologies for my harsh reply - it was undeserved and unwarranted.

He likely wants to eat it, not look at the pretty colours and admire the artistic Masterchef BS presentation.

Personally I don't watch this "Masterchef" so you will have to explain that remark, adding peppers etc does far more than bring colour but ,frankly, I cannot be bothered to educate you.

I just came across this photo of my current crew as it was earlier this year so thought I would pop it here for posterity. L-R Willow [4], Belle [home bred 3], Moss [home bred, same litter 3], Clover [Mum to the other spaniels but sadly had to be put down back in March aged 7], Juno [13] and Monty the Patterdale [13]. I've had dogs all my life, usually more than one and don't think I would like to be without one. We lost our last Lab dog due to old age back in October last year, he just slipped away naturally and peacefully but seeing this pic of Clover again hurts. She was a bit special and my shadow, where I went she wanted to come too. Having to say goodbye to her is still raw - as is the loss of all our previous friends.

3rd from the left - stunning looking Springer.

  8. Another vote for Halfords, finally managed to snap a 10mm spanner (Ssssshhhh - had a hollow tube on it) and Halfords replaced it with no problems - bought the set back in 2004 from memory.

I don't, not now, not ever.

    Absolute garbage.

Lead comes the ground, it's not a man made product.

Why not ban nettles cos they sting or brambles cos they snag clothing?

We constantly pander to the minority that shout the loudest just to shut them up.

Agree 100%, as as for all this Bull about "Voluntary" - who, exactly, is volunteering? Count me out.

  10. Load the Mag then hold it side on and use a piece of cocktail stick or similar to push the pellets gently out (as if entering the breach) - do they exit straight or do they lift/drop/ etc - if they dont exit true then they may be damaging themselves on the breach which has very little taper.

  11. Can you single load it - the Mags on the early models were absolute garbage. If the bolt is hard to operate as you push it forward then the Mag will be the problem.
