Gents, some advice please.
I have acquired a Beretta S56E over & under, 28" barrels, single trigger, game stock, with ejectors, and is in exellent condition for its age - marking is XX7, which dates it as 1971. The barrels have the marking '00' on the top and '0000' on the bottom. Can anyone confirm this as the choking to be 3/4 and 1/4, top and bottom respectively? I'm guessing here that the markings '00' & '0000' is an indication of barrel restriction. I don't have a choke gauge. Also what kind of value would you estimate for this item?
