nope hes from norfolk and when he was growing up you could wack your cammo gear on grab your gun walk in the country and go starling slaying all day long without being bothered...how times have changed

whats the sort of trouble my mate can expect to get into if he gets caught by the plod creeping about with his airgun on farmland and woodland whos ownership is unknown??? i can see why he would want to go out poaching/tresspassing whatever you will call it as shooting is quite hard to come by depending on your circle of friends/where you live.

good little mini moto for sale bought it with the intention of racing on the kart tracks but i have too much other stuff to be getting on with. go's just fine carb leaks very slightly its not a cheap chinese imitation. grab a bargain.

how long is it ok to leave a springer rifle cocked for?

i left my smk19 cocked all night! got into work following day and realized i thought dammit iv knackered it or at least weakened the spring. then flutter flutter a collard pigeon/dove lands in the yard, crack thump skyrat dead the hollow point pellet went through the poor sod in one side of the back and out the other at about 25 yards -
im suprised that the selfrighteous no it alls havent all been WRITING in BLOCK capitals SAYING THINGS LIKE NEVER NEVER NEVER use an air pistol on live quarry if you have got a rat in the vicinity shoot the **** with what ever cross bow, cannon, spud gun its a ******* rat. and if a pidgeon lands on a fence 10 yards away and you can hit him in the head go for it. sorry misses moaning and needed to let of some steam but to all the pompus ***** **** *** ahh thats better

i now have the knack of my illuminated mill dot scope srl or whatever make it is, i got it from js ramsbottom quite pleased with it actually bargain for £30 but then a cardboard tube would have been more use than the smk 4x20 piece of poop i was using before and after testing its interceptor hollow points all the way from now on......... happy hunting

i like the sound of this method, and even with my scope bent as a 9 bob note i manged my furthest single shot kill today, pigeon on a post facing me bsa hollow point in the neck scraggly little fleabag didnt even twitch at 35 40ish yards. -
if posting air rifles is legal could you have them posted from other countries ie buy one from a shop abroad and they post it? and what about taking it on a plane not as hand luggage obviously :blink: (girlfriends mum and dad live in ireland plenty of land)

its a brand new scope my old scope came with mounts attached and crosshairs aligned this new one came scope mounts separately. -
just wondering how i can get my xhairs bang on as after zeroing my scope on a bipod i picked it up and noticed the xhairs were on the pizz catscockin a bun i thought my mate at worksaid he read somthing about setting it against a plumb line (bit of string with a weight) any suggestions dan

just had my 4 x40 milldot + dragon claw bipod delivered today and the pellets cant get enough of each others rear ends. so itl be head shots all the way now.

WELL WELL WELL this is getting a little heated! i shoot the squat pigeons (feral) at work cos they **** over everything and i wouldnt even touch the dirty barstUards without a glove on, things jumping off them crawling under there feathers brrrrr shudder flying rats. they get lobbed down the yard for the yard cat to feast on hes got one eye one ear and hes scarier than any dog iv ever seen hed have your ****** hand off. never been woodie shooting however they look like a different bird all together like grey garden tree chickens

i saw a program about people who have some of the nastiest jobs in England dead body removals sewerage works & environmental health and the EH officer was called out to investigate an infestation of rats and one was trapped in a wheely bin and he got out an air pistol and shot it about three times i think brutal but better than the kettle i think go with the pistol
