  2. How do some people manage to fill out applications forms for a Firearm Do we blame the teachers Kitchy, I had a R7 for around 15 years??? and never had an issue with the mags damaging the pellets. Are you sure you have read the instructions correctly
  3. Come on Boys if you need to let off some testosterone steam then get your selves to Catton in May and punch some holes in the targets. Now what was the question again
  4. So i need to go in all PPE'd from head to toe then, eye protection hard had and toe tectors Oh! and kevlar sleeves What about a Box just incase. Thanks for the replies

    HELP

I think it would be in your best interest if you posted the actual pub and time you are due to meet this chick, Then we could all check her out for you before it goes too far, i mean to be honest it wont be your eyes making the decision really will it I am sure we would not put you to shame If we dont think she's up to it we could have a rite good night talking shooting and stuff, far more exciting
  8. At that rate you will soon be shooting with a pair of "Purdy's" I may have a plan now then, how about if i can supply you with as many rabbits as you want and sell them to you at £2 each thats giving you a good profit and you can even stop in and watch "the apprentice" and have a nice warm drink while your at it

Very interested, but i would obviously be cautious as £200 is very cheap, How old is it & what use has it had please
  10. Just read the comments and to be honest with some, its like being back in the play ground at the infants school. There is just no need for some of the comments. Whether it all folds up after a few outing then so what, you can bet you bottom $ it will be back in the shed to knock another one up, but this time a better one,a great improvement on the proto type. And you can bet again that it will be shown to every man and his dog, something home made by him or her self, and bloody proud of it too. What it costs is irrelivant its hand made,it wont matter how long it took to make either because its time spent to do with the sport and hobby that is loved by the maker of there new gadget. Some folk on here would be a rite joy to meet over a pint have a good old chat swapping stories, then there are the others who we have all met hopefully just the once inthe local, who confess to know it all. Those i am afraid are scattered all over the place you just cant shake them off some times.
  11. Aye up Sam, while your here giving some advice on this and that, can you explain to all were you get all your experience from, as the only calibre you shoot at the moment is a 12bore, Or are you really "Chuck Hawks" under cover i do apoligise Sam I see you are now well experienced with CF as youve had a nice 222 just over a week now
  12. Well Sam, I remember some posts ago in fact many posts ago you were putting in for FAC, have you got it yet there again if you can decide which calibre you are going for. Why dont you get a 338 Lap Mag??? then you could shoot fox's on your permission from your bedroom window without having to stray too far from you computer Yes, all those who are old and mature enough are well aware that a shot gun will and does kill fox's with the correct shot size and placement, but can you please, if your intentions are to lamp Fox' get your application filled in and either go for a 223 or 22.250 and get the correct tool for the job
  13. Thats a prety impresive shot, but which calibre where you using??? i see you have a HMR 22RF and an air rifle. so i'm guessing here was it the air pistol
  14. Sorry but there again why should i apalogise B) I find your comment extremely imature, like yourself. They have stuck by our comonwealth and given support without question and a hell of allot have given there lives for the country you are now living in. You show a total lack of respect for a so called 38 year old, get you head in a history book and try if you can to learn about what they have done for King / Queen and country. Then you may have the rite to pass judgement. but i very much doubt a fool would understand anyway. Happy shooting Viking
  15. Thats pretty good shooting there dougy I cannot see why some people condone shooting at distances maybe its because they are not able, To take shots at that kind of distance needs quite some effort and it sounds that the chap "dougy" spent quite some time developing a load that was accurate enough to take that kind of shot. so hats off to you dougy, Try and go for the 300yrd next time but of course check it tout on paper first, as i am sure you will.
