I may learn a thing or two? I dont recall asking anyone to give the guy land but what's wrong in asking if the guy want's to come along with you see how he goes and if all goes well tell others on here and maybe someone else can do the same, so you can at least help the guy and push him in the right direction whilst he sorts himself out instead of tearing him apart. As for only jesting! does this guy know that? probably not! And Mark When you say about having to work hard to get what you have got read your post again it says you don't have to go door knocking so don't patronise me and tell me i could learn a thing or two. Cosd i totally agree with everthing your saying i have just posted on another thread where someone is being put down and i just cannot believe the mentality of these people. I have worked my butt off for very little which means i can only afford alot less than most, so makes you feel a little inferior with a couple of hundred quid gun at a clay shoot untill you get in the stand and realise that you can take on the big boys with there few grands worth of Beretta's. It does'nt bother me anymore eventhough i do like to look at the craftsmanship of some of these guns but feel like my money is best spent elsewhere like my six year old daughter! Do i get less out of my sport for having a couple of hundred quid gun? No i don't if anything the sport is in the guy with the gun that's worth a couple of grand! when i compare score cards at the end of the day! Who's the mug?

What the hell is wrong with you people? I take it the one's making the sarcastic remarks are the one's that have permission already so hell to everyone else! but let me tell you a little secret one day you might lose your permission and you will probably be the one on here asking, because just like me & others that have knocked on hundreds of door's and been told they already have someone shooting and probably people like the sarcastic ones on here that do feckall for our sport and have nothing else to do but sit on a public forum and rip someone to pieces is that the only way you can be sure of a clean kill? What's wrong with the guy asking for help? You should be bloody ashamed of yourselves! would you say the kind of thing's to this guy's face if you saw him at a clayshoot? i very much dought it because it's the wonder of the safety of a keyboard and monitor that allow you to make these comments and feel all big and proud of yourselves when in reality it makes you look like the guy i would never want to shoot with. You get a lot more satisfaction from helping these guy's rather than tear them apart! you should try it! Chris.

I know a guy that cant string a sentence together without spelling every other word wrong but guess what? He's Shot for England two years running! Once more he's my brother and i am proud of him! Greybeard i think it's excellent what you are trying to achieve here and i don't see any problems with what your doing! To the Rest that have posted negative comment's and there have been afew as it's taken me hours to read through this thread and post's is to just for one minute stop and think about what you're doing because to date there has been 1841 people view this thread on a public forum and you lot are worried or paranoid that someone is going to rip the sport apart on tv,i think you've done yourselves what you thought someone was going to do for you!. I don't understand why anyone would think Greybeard was an anti because in the time we live in video cameras are so advanced the anti's dont need to go to the extreme of trying to bait someone to shoot off of a forum as let's face it it's not hard to locate one of us in the field is it? they could film from hundreds of yards away and you not know and you don't get a say in the editing there do you! so everyone just chill out abit and try and do something positive because this thread just got turned into a witch hunt. Putting whatever experience you may have to one side and coming on to this forum reading this what would you think? because at the moment i am kind of thinking that we can't even sort ourselves out let alone go out and make a programme to promote our sport. As long as you know what your doing and everthing is done as it should be done in the field editing or not there will not be a problem!!! You just keep bang'in those doors fella it will come! i have spent weeks in the past doin it and got knocked back tenfold before any interest shown and then one day i got 2 permissions and if you lived more local you would of been more than welcome! Just keep plugging away fella and the one thing i can tell you is when you have had to go and get it yourself you appreciate it more! Good luck, Chris.

Hi Guy's, I am new to the site and would'nt mind coming along to this if that's alright with everyone going? it's my second year of fly fishing so would be good to learn a little more!!
