  1. See the enforcers are back in stock now, just ordered some , 79 quid delivered. Had some a few years ago and found them pretty good, but carried around in big bag and rubbed together causing them to have a slight shine, but do prefer these full bodied when I don't have any in freezer.
  2. I bought 20 of these decoys last year,Think I paid about £140.00. first impressions, very happy. Been lugged about now to various locations, all in a big garden bag, was out corvid decoying yesterday and decided to put a pattern of these out to the left as there was the odd pigeon about, as it was dull they looked very good and pulled in most of the few pigeon that passed by, no mechanicals, just these. (bagged 7) bonus. On sunny days they do have a slight sheen to them and am a bit uncertain if they are as effective in the sun as on a dull day, so replace with real birds as shot. Detailing is very good though.
  3. Browning 425 30 inch multi choke, Right handed, all nice and tight, good condition. £770.00. Based in Bristol
  4. Enjoy reading your posts PC, does your mate carry on single handed while you are away having slurp ups? Have a look out of the plane windows on take off and see if can see all the pigeons (remaining ones) lined up each side of the runway with their wings in a V shape enjoy the sun
  5. Aigle iso very comfy , sole is well insulated, great for sitting around in hides in winter, but for me too warm in summer.
  6. Got these boots, very warm but have trouble with socks coming off, makes it hard then to remove welly. I use long socks and fold over top of boot.
  7. got two fold up chairs from ikea, about 7 quid each, (two years ago) think they still sell them, back support for us older duffers, light to carry and comfy

  11. I was the other person , and big thanks to Darren for the invite, and welcoming hot brew, the conditions were not ideal, qiute still and bright but saw some good flocks about, very enjoyable day, with Darren making up the majority of the bag,
  12. yes i would recomend it , paid about £350.00 for it so not too worried about it taking knocks and stuff, put about 250 carts through it with no jam ups so far. i might lengthen the stock with a recoil pad as its quite short. overall ...HAPPY
  13. Yes havnt had it that long use it instead of lanber that has fixed chokes, like the open choke, but pain looking for the empty shells

  18. Mackerel bonanza last saturday on chesil beach at seatown, caught about 50 odd in about 3 hours of fishing, quite close in 40 or 50 yards, lots of them were small, some tiny, kept a dozen larger ones, fried in butter , with salt and pepper, ........Treats
  19. went out yesterday after farmer reported large pigeon flocks the day before, on arrival two 50 odd flocks flew off by where i set up, on freshly drilled barley with my back to a small wood, put out 20 shells and 10 full bodies with sillosock jackets on and a group of 4 crow deeks off to the right. not that many pigeons came back ,those that did seem spooked, I took in the full body ones with jackets on in as they seemed to shine in the sun, any one else had this?, anyway managed a few to put on flapper and bouncer, then best part of the day, caught sight of something diving from behind me from over the woods straight into my decoys and SMACK, into a flocked shell decoy, the speed at which it came down was unreal, it hung around for a short while then flew off,a bit puzzled, it was a Buzzard but not sure what type. beautiful weather, bit too bright and still though, ended up with 16 crow, rooks, 4 pigeons (Wiltshire)
  20. I found on the head down ones to stop the rod coming out of the top of the white neck bar, glue a small fishing bead near the top of the rod about 3 centimeters down, also allows them to turn with wind (superglue)
  21. Must admit Konings it was blue when i bought it, and have thought about respraying it but will wait for warmer weather
  22. Out last friday over rape, nothing doing apart from a couple of rooks, last hour in a small wood bagged these.
