Are they seeking a total ban on imports of meat and other animal products?
Or is it considered OK to import a carcase if people want to eat it, but not if they want to look at it?
That's sounds about right mate

It wasnt just stuff from Africa they were going to ban it was anything not taken in the UK. Eg if you went to spain partridge shooting and bought yourself back a feather you would be breaking the law

Very odd indeed!! I would say worth investigating with a 223

Ill take the green canvas one if its still up for grabs. PM me details etc

We usually go but only daughter and I did this year, I just posted about it in the OT section. Weather was a tad warm but better than having it hiss down!
What kind of event was it from a stallholders perspective this year?I was there as part of the Wilfowlers stand. Its was nice to see so many shooters old and young out and about. Sat was rather warm due to there being ****** all wind but on the whole i felt it wa good. Can do with more sporting stalls and less tutt stalls

Happens only to true folwers if you ask me. I thought I herd some the other night. I went out in my PJs to have a look. Dog didnt know what was going on. I must have been dreaming it.
@marsh man dont worry mate keep your powder dry they'll be with us soon

Hello all!!!
Just to let you all kno the above fair will be on this weekend. Fenland Wildfolwers will have a stand there alongside BASC. And from what I understand theres going to be a few other shooting relaited bits there. Either way looks like the weather is going to hold out so might just be a nice day out.

I put in for a veriation on my FAC not too long ago. I dropped it off at HQ and had it back a few days later. I think Norfolk have got stuff together and are sorting it

Hi Gerry sorry to hear that. It seems like our sport of fowling keeps getting smaller. 20 years is a good lot to put in. Never know you might taste that salty air of the foreshore again.
