  1. Thanks all Spoke to the vet on Tuesday, he said the problem was heat stroke not dehydration, dogs being dogs will run themselfs raggid to please us reather than stopping and resting, he said the same as you guys, take water out on the walk and put water in her food to ensure she gets enough. Cheers Mark
  2. Hi All Having some serious problems with my Dog getting enough water down to keep her hydrated, she seems to drink very little during the day by choice, only drinking when panting heavy from excersise. i know the weather has heated up latley but she still seems to not be taking enough liquid Was out on Sat letting her play with next door neighbours Visla and her legs went after about 15 mins of messing about, had to carry her to the pond to cool her down and get some flewids in, after about 10 mins in the water she was fine and wanting to play again Took her out this evening and the same thing happened, She's a 12 month old choc lab by the way, realy need some tips or tricks for getting the flewids down her, dont want her to do any serious damage to her internal organs through de-hydration Thanks Mark

    Patents

a patent is the only thing you can use, someone else can copy it and buy the patent, and you wont have a leg to stand on, the only way you can protect your idea and the intellectual property around it is to get the patent. speak to a patent solicitor and they will advise you the best way to proceed, it may be worth spending the £2k, after all its a small price to pay if your idea is as good as you say, you can then always sell the patent or let one of the big players in the industry produce under licence and pay you loyaltys if your not prepared to invest the £2k, then is the idea realy that good??? what ever you do make sure whoever you deal with, get them to sigh a none disclosure agreement (templates avalable on the web)
  4. can someone please explain what the chokes do, from what i understand it changes the shape and flight of your shot, is there a scail that explains this? for example 1/4 choke = X shot pattern at X meters 1/2 choke = X shot pattern at X meters 3/4 choke = X shot pattern at X meters Full choke = X shot pattern at X meters i understand that the type and size of cartrage may affect this, so for arguments sake lets use a 30g No6 with a plastic wad

  8. My FEO told me not to take it with me as a PNC check will verify my SGC, however i always take it with a copy of my permission and my insurance details in a wet proof bag just to be safe.... The last thing you need is the Armed responce team giving you the once over untill they check your details....
