  9. Hi One of my friends is looking to have a shooting lesson or maybe a few to see if it's something he would like to take up as a hobby. I've not shot at clay grounds for many years (A6 last time i think - now closed) so i'm not able to offer much advice. The nearest places i can think of near us in Manchester are Kelbrook and Manchester Clay club. I did shoot at manchester some 10+ yrs ago but i'm not sure what there like for lessons. Can anyone recommend either if they have had or know anyone who's had a lesson. Thanks for any replies. Cheers....... baz
  10. I'm sure the new one will be fine, i've had the M1 for many years and it never missed a beat. Bought the M2 when that come out and that's been fine also, great guns in my opinion
  11. Something will come up eventually, if your real stuck you could try something like http://www.nppc.co.uk/
  12. Nice photo, bet the mucky sod took some cleaning
  13. Great photo Love spaniels, here's one of ours at a rare moment when he's keeping still.
  14. Great Pics, i have two cockers and they have more energy than the duracell bunny
  15. Great vid & quality, always good to have such a good camera/videocam in your pocket.
  16. Good bit of advice there, lost count of the times i've been setting up and found the bottom half of sticks....lol's
  17. I use mine normally on it's own or with Jack Pyke Clearview behind if sunny. As already said we can get obsessive with nets, if your keeping still and are fairly covered you will be fine. Cheers
  18. I use an old fishing Carp chair, not the lightest but all legs are adjustable and you can vary the height by 40cm. Has mud feet also so you can get comfortable no matter where or what the ground is like. Nice and comfortable when the shooting is slow Little bit like the below, can't find the exact one as had it some time now.
  19. Love those Pics, Fantastic
  20. I don't normally bother if raining to start with, however i've been a few times and the weather started fine only to pour down. In between the showers i've had some great sport. I don't take a brolly but manage to get under a tree most times. Note to self: Leave brolly in car
  21. Hi I used both quite a lot last year and much prefer spring sticks than the wobblers. I find the wobblers dislodge if a little too windy. Worth a punt if cheap though. You can never have too much tackle
  22. Hi, Looks good, i bought one last year then got another as was that impressed. I sometimes just use 1/2 flappers instead of the magnet now. What's the battery carry you have there ? Cheers
