As in any new car too much in the way of sensors and electrics , you’re best bet go to an independent garage , 4x4 specialist is a bonus , and get them to plug the laptop in and do a diagnostic on it , should pinpoint problem , when you ask @bout electrical issues you normally get five replies all with different things they changed , good luck

I’d just use a surplus british army Bergen , still use one now if it’s muddy , I won’t drive on the margins if it’s wet , they are big enough for poles , net , seat, carts , even get a magnet and couple of floaters in it along with ten half shell decoys , if you’re on the bike loosen the straps so the seat supports it on your back only drawback I have is if I have a good day it’s two journeys second one to bring back the pigeons to the car ,

I actually felt a bit sorry for the clown I finally got through too , I let him have the full broadside ! Anyway long story short ,,,,,,,,,, the engineer is booked to put a phone line to the house , we already have one , doesn’t every house built since the 60s , saw we had one I guess from the box in the street and left , no call no email sod all , the broadband is plug and play and apparently so is the tv box but if I want to pay £40 they will send another engineer who will set it up and show us how it works , guess what the answer to that was !!! Why none of this is explained when you sort out you want this package I don’t know , oh I’m sorry sir they should have , oh I’m sorry sir engineer should have knocked on door to let you know and check line , oh I’m sorry sir you shouldn’t have got email to say you have to be in for engineer to call absolute moby’s the whole firm !

I think with Christmas there will be a bigger spike so guess we could be back to a lockdown through January ! But hopefully with the vaccines being rolled out things will be on the up from February, I hope ! I don’t know what the engineer visit is for I’m just following what by told us ! Yes luckily we didn’t cancel the virgin package so still have broadband and television , just as well ,

No it’s on two emails and a txt we need the engineer and make sure were in , the broadband is just plug and play it even said that info so I’m guessing it’s to do with either phone line or tv , what really winds me up is all the company’s these days where you cannot actually speak to a human ! They are so big now don’t give a hoot

Has anyone got anything good to say about the above ? We are swopping over from virgin to bt for tv and broadband , all organised for last Friday courier brings all the bits last Thursday , engineer booked between 1 to 6 on Friday , take day off work , no show !!! No call no email nothing , now have you ever tried to contact them ? Since Friday it’s the same msg we are experiencing huge amounts of calls ! Wait up to an hour , nothing ten or twelve times since and cannot get through ! No wonder there’s a lot of calls I guess a lot of them are complaints, if they are that busy why not employ more people ? Or am I being a bit thick not knowing how big business works I’m getting to the stage of telling them to place it somewhere dark and go to sky but then I can’t get hold of anyone to tell them ! Can’t believe any company would think this is how to keep customers happy

Anyone know where I can get venison from local to me , Newmarket in Suffolk , as in half a carcass or pre butchered but in larger amounts, there’s a few butchers here but it’s bit costly buying it like that , considering shooters are not getting much from the game dealers someone is making a good mark up ! Seems to be on all game we were out last week for a bite to eat , up market pub slash restaurant, pigeon starter £4.95 and a venison main course £25 Thanks all

Not been much about my area of late , Suffolk Cambs border , catching a few roosting or the odd flight line but seeing none feeding on anything in the fields , think we need some winter weather to hit , still it’s nice to get out and wander round with the dogs and a handful of carts, never been one to always want the big bags it would be nice to see a few and throw some decoys out but at least the farmers happy nothing getting hammered at mo

Not really a surprise is it considering the amount of people that go through a supermarket in a day touching trolleys , baskets etc picking up items , but not much you can do other than a mask and wipe down the handles , prob a bit like Russian roulette !

The full story behind this was that it was a second shot on the deer , having only wounded it first shot a little time earlier , was with a professional guide and between them viewed it the best chance to put the deer down to stop it suffering there is a version going round that the deer were herded into the water , untrue ! It was a lung shot , high , there will be a debate about whether another shot should have been fired but those on the ground thought it adequate, I’m not defending or berating this action but if it was filmed it should not have been put out on the web fo4 all to see and to fuel the antis

I’ve had a couple of sim days moved from this month , one now is end of dec and other mid Jan , I know it’s not the same but it’s either that or not going , a day out in the field has got to be good whenever it is !

I’ve got a super sport ata and love it , was going to upgrade last year from my old o/u , was in Simpson’s in Newmarket, tried a lot of guns and for all they had the ata was the best fitting gun I tried , love it , value for money you won’t beat it , had a few thousand carts through it on clays , pigeon and a few sim days

Don’t know where this came from but if little un is cooking burgers first they are smothered in bbq sauce left overnight in fridge , bit salt and pepper then cooked she mixes up 50/50 salad cream and ketchup adds finely chopped onion and dresses burger up in roll with a big dollop sounds a faff but it’s actually tasty !

Lucky down here , the farm has couple big areas with osr but hardly any pigeons about at the moment , last few days out hardly fired a shot ! Not sure what they are feeding on or where but nothing about , think we need a cold snap
