  1. Bump this post. The stock is still for sale as I failed to check site for replies.
  2. I am looking for a bedlington x whippet lurcher pup. Any litters within 75 miles of Stafford? Thanks.
  3. Not only would it would look great, it would transform it into a different rifle. At a good reduction on the £224 price of a new stock too. Ta.
  4. A few extra pictures showing wear and tear on the scope, the bore snake and patches:
  5. Unable to turn rifle left and right. Thanks for pointing that out.
  6. If I am right, the S in the S25 designates swivel. It definitely rolls side to side, which I think is swivel. What is tilt?
  7. Genuine Harris S25 swivel bipod. Good condition. From the maker's description: Ultralight and lightning quick. The bipod attaches to the sling swivel by a screw-up clamp. Manufactured from heat treated and hardened alloys. Series S bipods rotate to either side for instant levelling on uneven ground. For some the model 25 may be a little more comfortable in the prone position. From sitting the extra height allows more leeway in shooting at an elevated target. The model 25 has 3 piece legs. Adjusts from 12 - 25 inches £80 posted.
  8. Boyds Rimfire Varmint Thumbhole stock for CZ452 in Nutmeg Laminate. Made for bull barrel. Photos show the stock fitted to the thinner barrel CZ452 American. This shows the gap around the barrel. No chance of barrel touching the stock. Maybe it could be a good bedding project? As new condition. £165 posted.
  9. Unless the bullet technology has changed a great deal over the last 12 years, the WMR has a tendency to ricochet, and the heavy bullet can go a long way. If the land is not up to using a centre fire, I personally would steer clear of the 22 magnum.
  10. If I had that money to spend, I still would not be able to fit a car in the garage. It would be even more packed full of woodwork and metalwork machinery.
  11. I have had the gun apart and the spring is not finished too badly. It was also very slightly pinched in one end. This has been remedied with a file, and I have polished the ends up further. I was very surprised by how little preload was on the spring. How could a stiffer spring be used without going over the limit?
  12. Perhaps I asked the wrong question. Rather than "what is the advantage of spring like the titan XS over the standard Weihrauch item?" I should have asked the question: Is there an advantage of a spring like the titan XS over the standard Weihrauch item?
  13. I have a little lathe, and want to treat the tune-up as a bit of a project. I am just wondering should I use the standard spring or something else?
  14. When tuning a springer (in my case an HW95K) to under 12 ft lbs, what is the advantage of spring like the titan XS over the standard Weihrauch item?
