The milk/fluid inside the tubes has a chemical in it then when on the skin,it reacts to make the skin incapable of protecting itself from UV light...it only becomes apparent if you get it on your skin then expose the skin to day/sunlight...the effects can be quite serious if you get a lot on you..I've had it but not to bad..manifests itself as brown/sometimes pussy blisters on the arms/legs...best to avoid...if you need to shift some,cover up...

If done close enough, it just makes a 10p size hole..no mess..all shot is contained in the head...the trick is to get that shot on an animal that never stays still...

Never seen the stun method..I shoot them on the farms for disposal...(non consumption) The whole line from ear to eye business is a bit of a simplistic method...big porkers have BIG ears..what part of the ear do you use...and the eyes could be obscured.. As you know they have a small surface area of brain and huge Sinuses between skull and brain..very little margin for error..I was taught straight between the eyes with pigs.all pigs..agreed,shotgun is probably most practical weapon for the job...i only carry a 357 so accuracy is paramount....certainly not an easy job..I personally don't like doing pigs at all..up there with horses..not a job to get wrong.. As said before...get some one in...local knacker man would help or know someone that will..

That was an easy 1 Kevin...although not pleasant for you..never nice seeing your own livestock being put down.... The shot is Straight between the eyes aiming for its ****....most awkward animal to shoot by far..I don't like seeing them on my list.....you have to get to there level and they don't stand still...then they'll pay still for up to 3 or 4 minutes.(if you've got it right).then start thrashing about....BE WARNED...if you get it wrong..your in a whole heap of trouble..my advice...get someone in to do it...
