  1. easy one FREE ... they are in the woods hazel spend some time you can find thin ones spend some more time looking you can have V tops on them all... just need some cord or bungee to keep them to gether.
  2. I have found them good on boncers, as for one flapping and one not, I just find that they werent quite set the same a bit of set up by taking the arm of the rotary and sitting it along side the other you can match the angle better then they both work fine. as for high winds never really tried them in those conditions. but they are light wait work well until you have dead birds for the rotary if you are like me and don't have room for a freezer for dead bird decoy storage.
  3. Just read all this with intrest as a flapper will be my next bye, any one tried the 3 in 1 pecker flapper? what price did you get the turbo and remote for?
  4. A friend had some the other week, and next to other decoys in the pattern they looked small and because of there design still, you get no movement from them at all. I agree they are a bit of a nack to set them up. The birds where not playing that day either with cold fog about kept pushing flight lines about so got allot of time to look at them. We thought by the end of the day the silosocks stood out more and moved even in the stillest air. Dose any one have any thought s on mixed decoys types in a pattern? I never had an issue and was putting **** day down to **** weather?
  5. Any one shooting Churchills 50 bird open tomorrow? at Swanton Moorely?
  6. Works fine, I'm an arborist so use my throw lines allot like this, less to cary. as long as you can get them in a convincing position not floating in space up in the tips is what you want.. ps if you go walking about on your plot remmber where they where, my god son shot his dads decoy last year... oh we still have not let up on that one yet...
  7. I tried red ones and black ones but only my yellow ones seem to fit my gun the rest where to big for me.... umm I tend to use Number 5 shot when roost shooting or rough shooting seems to get through the cover better, but if it gose pop when you pull the triggers lead flys out the end and this is the important bit, as long as you put in the right place it will work dear hart..
  8. I hope you got him before he could spread the word?
