  1. Excuse me if I'm being thick, but where is the 'Wanted' section? I had a look a the various forums before posting on this Equipment one, but couldn't see it...? Cheers.
  2. Hi Fellas, I'm after a Pinewood tripod to fit my Mkii Advantage Rotary but Roland has none in stock and no expected re-stock date. If anyone has one that they would like to sell, I'd be interested. Also, very happy to hear of any DIY ways you may have come up with to achieve the same result. Cheers!
  3. Hi, I think Nick Richards (07880 554843) may do that area. I haven't been out with him myself (only met him in the NGO tent at this years' game fair) so if you do, I'd be grateful if you could let us know how you get on. Cheers!
  4. Update: Camonets confirmed by email that they can supply what I'm after as a one-piece net (for circa £32 + postage if I recall correctly).
  5. Indeed! And, just like with fishing tackle, you can never have too much gear! B)
  6. Thanks Motty, I appreciate what you say but please indulge me as I want to test out a different hide set-up to see if it works in particular circumstances. Cheers!
  7. AA Decoys flapper is excellent. The only improvement I would like to see is croc-clips to hold the wings rather than the hooks - which were easier to punch through the wing once I'd sharpened them.
  8. Thanks for the offer BB - much appreciated! Thanks for all the links and suggestion too everyone - I'll check them all out shortly.
  9. Motty - want it to create a tall back drop to a hide when away from the hedgerow. Aga Man - thanks for the link. The army stuff is too open and patchy for what I want. Appreciate all replies chaps.
  10. Standard Pinewood Advantage rotary = excellent bit of kit
  11. Thanks Zeus, I've emailed them to see if they can supply what I need.
  12. Search as I might, I can't seem to find standard die cut green/brown camo net in either 1.8 or 2m (i.e circa 6ft) tall by 4 or 5 metres long. Any idea where I might get some chaps? Ta!
  13. Hi there - I'm interested in this and will send you a PM shortly! Best regards.
  14. Thanks for your replies chaps. Richard kindly replied to my PM confirming that it was a Stag All Terrain seat bought from America. I've not yet found a UK supplier, so it seems you need to consider buying from the states at circa £70 cost for the seat, plus £20 air freight, plus circa £15 import duty. Several reviews say that the seat is uncomfortable, and Richard also said that the seat pading is minimal, but otherwise it's a good seat. My view on this is that American's tend to be rather larger than us Brits (!) and you can always buy a hunk of foam to cushion the seat if necessary. If I can find a UK supplier, I'll probably buy one. If not, I'll probably stick to using a bucket and some foam! Happy shooting Guys. The wheat will surely get cut soon.....
  15. Hi All, Richard did an article entitled "The stubble thief" in Shooting Times 17th August 2011. On page 16 of the mag there is a picture showing gear in the back of his truck, which includes what I think is a hide seat with 4 legs that can be detached and stored in the main seat unit. I'm keen to know who makes this seat and where one might be bought? I've PM'd Richard (I think!) but if anyone else knows, I'd very much appreciate your reply. Thanks! Richard
