  1. £115 for mine Police took 3 months, arrived yesterday, all done over the phone
  2. I actually had them do a gun of mine. From a little distance it looks very good and I received many positive compliments about the gun, BUT, I wish I hadn't had it done, as it's laser engraved when you tilt the gun the face of the engraving is flat and shiny, I just didn't like it. My gun was an MX8, I always wanted the scroll engraved SC3 type 100, so got this done as I really got on with the gun, having owned it for 9 years so thought I'd just keep it and have it engraved, which was a lot cheaper than getting a genuine SC3+ I would need it to be the same spec as my gun. I sold the gun about 3 months later, I did get £5k for the gun, which in a plain action was about £3k private so wasn't unhappy with the sale.
  3. Ok, I'll let you know when I have it back
  4. Very good condition, barely used, full set of factory chokes plus 2x extended 3/8 teague. Adjustable Comb £1400 I can't upload pictures but last time advertised on here (6th November 23 approximately I could if you want to see pictures)
  5. I have a gen 3, it'll be available in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know if you're not sorted before then
  6. Yes ,listening to a barrel maker doesn't happen often enough. I'm sure what you have forgotten about your trade exceeds the knowledge that some people claim they have .
  7. @London Best Thanks for your dismissive comment Fact is you don't know why it was bored out. Consider this perhaps If the original barrels were 28" and he decided to have 30" fitted And for easy maths say each barrel weighs 500grm And the barrel is 3mm thick(for the maths) 500gm divided by 30 to get the weight per 10th of a mm, is 16.6grm per 10th By back boring from 18.5 to 18.7 that's 2 tenths off the weight of the barrels, that is 66.6 grams of weight removed. If you accept the above then take 30" barrels, each inch of each tube weights 16.6 grams and there are 4" of extra tube with a 30" barrel over a 28" barrel, by boring out the barrels you could reduce the weight to the original 28" barrels . The other reason to Back bore is to reduce felt recoil. Fact is you don't know why it was done , but thanks for your constructive comments.
  8. I use a Beretta ugb-25 for sporting, it has an adjustable stock, weights 9lb, I like it, it hasn't improved my scores, nothing will do that, but it's interesting to shoot
  9. Maybe he had it bored out to lighten the barrels a bit to improve the feel???
  10. I have a franchi al , if you pay for transfer you can have it, it ain't pretty, but it's yours if you want it
  11. A franchi raptor, I think mine was called, very well made, benilli stamped in the barrel, they can be had for very little money as they're not a "big" name, personally stretch a bit and buy a good clean Beretta A303. I think the best value autos are the fabarms
  12. The one I purchased has turned up, cheers wylye
  13. Ok send me your PayPal details please
  14. ^^^ what brand is it please, maybe a picture of you can
  15. As above an optima choke in 3/8 flush or extended
  16. In the equipment section for guntrader someone is selling a load of those series chokes, have a look 👍
  17. Thanks for the comments, it really is a superb gun, feels very much like my Perazzi MX8 I had for years but I think it's best to stick with just one so I shoot my ugb-25 mainly. Hopefully someone else "in the know "will spot the bargain they are. A guy shot mine at abbey clay ground a couple of weeks ago and went and spent £3k on in basically my gun, he didn't know mine was coming up for sale.
  18. For sale Salvinelli Duke 30 " O/U I have owned it for around a year and it's a pleasure to shoot but I just prefer my other gun. I bought 2 X super extended teague 3/8 chokes, also had the comb converted to adjustable. It was originally silver actioned but I didn't really like it so has it professionally cold blacked and it looks very good. All original 5 X chokes, gun socks and case etc. Yr of sale 2016 ( original receipt) Weight about 8lb3oz When I bought it the previous owned had barely used it. I've put less than 2000 carts through it . Lovely nicely figured straight grained stock. £1500 Location Ashford Kent
