  1. I have a tough and ready franchi AL,it has a twist and go choke system on it, likes heavy carts., £75
  2. Is the O.P a complete novice? I don't see that started But if he is then lessons are a must, I wish I'd had them at the start and not before I have bad habits I can't stop unless I'm really focused. try guns that feel right and if you can shot them, maybe 50 clays each gun to really get a feeling. But personally I always have and adjustable stock/comb , with readily available stock extension options. Weight of the gun and balance, grip and forend feel are very important for me. So a gun that feels correct is as important as one that fits correct. And consider all guns, not just the big names Zoli, Salvinelli are two examples of underated guns that punch above their price point and will last longer than you, and can be bought for moderate cost used
  3. You could always buy a finishing kit and do it yourself, not hard to do. I have a kit and add a couple of coats and hand rub it to a finish when it needs it ,it's quite therapeutic
  4. @paul2415 cheers if I get on then it's good to know if I get stuck with an issue if I get one, I think the one up ATM may have been one of the 2, I mentioned.
  5. I've never shot one, I can only remember seeing one at a shoot years ago, I nearly bought one, very nearly in 2010, tbh I fancy something different, recent reviews Inc long term owners can't praise them enough, I like my present Salvinelli but want something to shoot that's different.,
  6. There's been a couple on GT lately but they pretty much sold immediately, a few years ago you couldn't give them away

    Beretta UGB-25

I'm sounding out for one of these,a sporter must have an adjustable comb ,be in vg condition, cased with all accessories and a late year.
  8. Well then you'd suddenly be paying 36p a clay of course,
  9. @TK421 Out of interest did you consider a Perazzi high tech? For k80 money you could have gone to the factory had a completely customizable gun made?
  10. I think I'm going to pass in the black edition, I shoot a Salvinelli Duke,30" I fitted an adjustable comb and it's superb, comes up lovely, weights 8lb6 and I practice mount it to be consistent, but for a reason I just can't explain I haven't gelled with it, it feels perfect but I just can't figure it out, I hate to go down the new gun option. My last gun if 10 yrs was a Perazzi MX8, but they are all different and mine was a sporter with a lowered trap grip stock. I have shot a DT11 and liked it, so I might have to do the brain reset with a new gun.
  11. I don't usually do this sort of post but... About a month ago I went there in a week day to practice, I asked the per clay price and the answer was odd "Depends but 36p a clay" I assumed it might vary if you're a youth or pensioner ,so for me 36p. I had 3 boxes and had a hand full in pocket. There were maybe 6 no bird's, She put the claymate card in the machine and just said £32. Odd, or very good at math. Tbh I hadn't kept an eye in how many I shot so... Today I went with the same amount of carts, carefully logged the 6 no bird's so I'd shot 83. Once again £32 So I worked out it should be £28.90 When I questioned it the response, to sum up that basically, and without any signs up it looks like the minimum fee regardless is going to be £32 Being English I normally just pay and walk but not this time There's no reason for this figure, no signs.no crossover from when you pay less than £32 or when you go over, (I suspect it's when you shoot clays at 36p and exceed £32. So basically you will be overcharged. Apparently there's been plenty of comments to the staff who have informed the owner , which is falling in deaf ears In the current climate I would think you would have a full car park if it was midweek at 30p a clay, the place was empty and unless my mates insist on going there I won't be returning.
  12. Thanks for the information, my experience with Beretta warranty with an early A400 and their time with the gun and excuses sounds normal
  13. Thanks for the reply, can you expand on the coating and how it causes issues when it begins to wear please
  14. I'm asking for teague chokes in sizes about in total(if they make them in that material that fit a Beretta with the mobile choke system
  15. Seems to be freezing and impossible to search for shotgun make and model, been about a week now?

    DT 11

I have a couple of flush chokes if you're interested, pm me if you do
  17. I have 3 available a Beretta cylinder And a teague 1/4 And teague modified All flush and in excellent condition
  18. Look at the promaster as well, it's a multidisciplinary gun, all of them are heavy guns,(if you're used to a game gun for example) a reason many older guys sell to get something lighter
  19. By sighting I meant picking them up and being able to reliable track the clay, it's probably more to do with correct pickup points etc,
  20. I don't mind paying, just wondering if anyone has personal experience
