  2. Hi, do you know make, details, thanks, moor man.
  3. Thanks for comments, not stable in the photo as its missing a leg! (Been replaced now) The legs screw into nuts attached with JB weld(heat resistant) to lid, the feet are made from washer and nut epoxied together, the washer is drilled to take a tent peg. The whole thing is then anchored to the ground. Forgot to mention that it converts to a small barbeque by removing lid, legs and chimney, flip it over and put the grille on top, bobs yer auntie Will post some more pics on my return, cheers moor man.
  4. Saw a few of these on interweb and thought Id have a go. Got a few finishing touches to do. Made from a .50cal ammo box, steel plate welded to the base of box then the whole thing is turned upside down, legs are threaded bar into JB welded nuts (should have welded these) to the lid, the feet have drilled washers attached to peg to the ground,. Chimney made from steel cans, bit of fire cement to bung up any gaps, all fits into box for transport! Will try to upload a vid, off camping with it in cornwall now

Tried a stuffed sparrowhawk too, they were definately interested in that, just a bit delicate for the field though. Good luck.

  20. Hi matteo, welcome to PW, do you have any sisters cheers moorman.
  21. What goes around comes around, hope it all works out for you. Im lucky to be part of a friendly syndicate (half gun) but am very careful not to introduce anyone i dont know well and respect. Sounds mighty unfair, leave them to it but keep up with the landowner. You have every right to be upset, Id be hopping mad. Would poetic justice if you set up some feeders on neighbouring ground to get 'your' birds back. All the best.
  22. Did the first two die of shock? Oven perfect, well done.
