I don't understand your post, but here is a link anyhow: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/wildlife/9359846/Nest-camera-captures-buzzard-stealing-rare-Osprey-chick.html -

Somewhere online there is a video of a buzzard taking an osprey chick from a nest. This is filmed by the nest-cam put there by the RSPB IIRC! -
Totally agree mate. I told myself I wouldn't come back to this thread, but that comment caught my eye. Once again, the self-appointed guardians passing judgement on who is the "right sort" for "their" sport.

Medical exemption is her only option really - get her down to the GP and get a note saying she can't do it, nerves or whatever.

Adjustable Combs on a 12G O/U... Good and the Bad
Joe99 replied to joecash's topic in Guns & Equipment
This. When I had my XT, I had a fitting session adjusted the comb and then left it wll alone. The adj comb on the XT was useful, but I don't think it was make or break for the gun. -
Most, if not all CCD based cameras are sensitive to IR light - the manufacturers install a filter over the sensor to block the IR. With many cameras it is a failry simple task to remove the filter, providing you can disassemble/reassemble the camera succesfully. I use a IR modded camera for astrophotography, and use a bracket such as this one http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p219_Digiklemme---Universal-Digital-Camera-Adaptor.html to attach the camera to the telescope eyepiece. I'm sure something similar could be used to attach a modded camera to the eyebell of a riflescope.

I suppose when you learned to drive you had the skills of Mansell and never asked a question? As for expressing concern, maybe he could give some helpful advice rather than starting a thread to express his outrage that a question got asked on a forum? southeastpete was right, even if he was rude. He's apologised now, but he is still right.

Is he not reading & asking now?! Got to start by asking the simple questions - they're only simple when you know the answer
-
Why is it shocking. The guy got a gun for clays only - fair enough. Now wants to broaden his horizons - fair enough. Asking how to go about it on a shooting forum - fair enough. I fail to see what is so shocking about that, would you rtaher he just go out and shoot whatever & wherever he fancies? Everyone has to learn somewhere, I think that is what southeastpete rightly alludes to.

I'll be there on the Sunday

Oh please, save us the sanctimony; people die every second of every day, are we supposed to wail & moan in grief about all of them?

That is a valid point - yes she may be the same mass as two people, but she isn't as mobile. Could've blocked the aisle easily.
