  1. Thought provoking TV? City of the future? BBC2 programme last night.
  2. Possibly if he gets in the legislation to do this may follow?
  3. The only time I have experienced one here was in a holiday place, the noise being pretty much continuous day and night means although a brilliant location there won't be a return.
  4. Always looking for ways to reduce their cost and involvement unless it's the enablement of the issue of parking fines that raises income, or the permissions granted to allow building on flood plains to increase council taxes.
  5. Many a truism hinted at in jest? The lunacy of all of these promises is that non of the promisors will be around when the wheels come off?
  6. Possibly done to prevent them becoming tracers from fibre wad ignition?
  7. Don't waste your remaining breath Vince, nobody will ever listen to common sense? Our idiots have just decided to declare a climate emergency to lead the unknowing into the myth that loud noise and frantic activity on their part means common sense and progress? That much wood would be about £40 here. I found anthracite difficult to light and maintain in mine.
  8. Starting at the beginning. FAC or sub12? Weight of gun as some a bit weighty? No regulator , as complicates things for little if any benefit for hunting? All good points above. I like AA easy repairs?
  9. Absolutely. We also maybe, need legislation to stop local councils from allowing further building on flood plains which they continue to permit as a way of increasing revenue?
  10. Perish the thought. A fair few here would be happy to have those bits still working? 😀
  11. Between £19 and £22 per 50kg delivered. Minimum delivery usually 5 bags here and some proper carp coal mixes with lots of ash.
  12. FWIW I was told? Coal for multifuel burners is not household coal. That's straight from the pit. The smokeless fuel for them is preformed ovals, unfortunately of late seemingly made with really carp imported coal mixed with cement very close to docks/import point. Supposedly wood/multi fuel burners should not be controlled by cutting off the draft but by putting on less fuel. Later models have fittings to prevent closing the vents completely giving a CE marked appliance. All to be gone soon along with gas central heating..
  13. Sadly, very true. I tried not to have an opinion here but failed.
  14. Yep, the best in .177. The worst a .22 Mercury in the 70's.

    Black Fox

Saw a beauty in Pershore area 3 years ago from up in a high seat, not on the list though.
  16. Probably down to the delivery pressure/rate from the pump being greater than the tank neck ability to lessen the pressure inside?
  17. Possibly not, that sort of activity would demand an increase in pay and expenses. More likely the backroom clowns who have been induced by some lobbyists?
  18. Yes Vince, guess we're lucky?
  19. Timely reminder,,,,,,,,,,,sorry,,,,,,,,, but mind your dogs? Now at least £100 at the vets for 2 jabs and 20 days tablets,,,,,,, if you are lucky and quick enough to spot the symptoms of rat bait?
  20. Maybe a slight change here, a few more about but still twitchy. The first signs of squirrel rut today. a pair came down an oak but disappeared into the undergrowth. S410 extra next time.
