  1. Only just able to pay. Personally not sure that society gives a rat's *** now, never mind later. Innit!
  2. Yep, true. They haven't given up either?
  3. Who in power is going to use the big stick? No-one, too much money being made from the chaos, nevermind the personnel involved as long as the shareholders cream it in. Just another successful iniative.
  4. As an aside Spain/EU. Looking for Gibraltar back?
  5. Give Flyboy1950 a ping, he may be able to chat?
  6. Maybe the end result of the rights of the individual being allowed to outweigh the rights of society at large?
  7. A very disturbing predicament here. This downward spiral has been allowed or sponsored to to continue for far too long to such a point as to be probably beyond recovery? The rehabilitation side and the draconian side most likely can never be given the support from wherever needed to halt the decline. No funds, no will power, no idea? History may well provide the end point?
  8. That happens internationally as you say and triggered my thought.
  9. Personally I would rather it was a voluntary thing. I can see the argument for the compulsory thing but suspect anything that the state makes mandatory as their history of honesty is not good. I am just waiting for the first harvested organs to appear illegally on the international market? Someone will soon be after a fast £ or 1000. Some Doctors no less prone to snaffling a quick quid than politicos?
  10. Could form lots of conspiracy theories around these incidents, not the first and won't be the last, inept decisions?

    Homeless crisis?

Absolutely Vince. Councils have already had plenty of failures along these lines in every city it has been tried yet they still continue, not caring who funds the revenue streams.

    Homeless crisis?

The art of passing a bung is to keep the bungs under the counter. I am still of the opinion that high density occupation brings out the worst aspects of behaviour as all fight for dominance irrespective of the actual areas where the density occurs.
  13. Sadly another recorded fire arm incident. Beggars belief, another idiot hurts us all.

    Homeless crisis?

My personal thoughts about councils and planning. Planning is a farce! Useless and toothless. Councils love the situation as it generates more income from property and gives them more money.
  15. Sounds like they possess thermal imaging too?

    Homeless crisis?

I thought that this had already been done and was the cause of inner city tensions, certainly a problem here.

Well mate, you must have plenty of unspoiled land by you? Every pony field being built on here and the only areas not up for building have already been built on.
  18. A real problem and a real insult to the people paying in to support the system but as is usual with councils and governments, not their money, don't give a fig just keep tightening the screw!
  19. My decision was made a few weeks ago, being sick of their constant threats. Now buying from anywhere but not EU goods knowingly. I think I can get by ok with a bit of effort. Maybe suggest we all do the same?
  20. Had a frightening thought today, we may well end up on exit with a more clueless, inept, crooked bunch of politicos than we had by being in? What a useless shower we have negotiating for us?
  21. An interesting concept C & P. It could well be that the decline in behaviour is being promoted as a means of a cheap form of social control? Why else is it being allowed to continue, making people continually look over their shoulder distracts for a while?
  22. I was told that the said Germans could not pronounce the name of the town of Scheveningen? It's all in the initial Sch? He needs to return to Canada? Probably will after being flipped a knighthood for services rendered?
  23. The fraud investigations should start at parliamentary level maybe as their seeming proclivity for greed can only fuel the same in society at large? Fraud seems to have become a way of life for some, certainly easier than working and useful as a nice free top up. In any event it probably costs more to investigate than just keep paying out? Bad back Bob is happy with his lot letting the rest take the strain and pain.

    Homeless crisis?

Yep, coming sooner than expected. Driving the general populace down?
