  1. My mate has been waiting since June 2022 for his renewal as they have classed it as a new application due to his medical forms taking to long !! Guns in storage since then .🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. Still at school and got my first shotgun certificate at 15 😊
  3. I bought a scraped A5 a few years ago for spares . No action ,bolt or mag tube but everything else inc the barrel was included
  4. Just get the gun put on your fac then convert the mag tube . My mate did it that way on a webley sa . He just had to remove a circlip or something similar?. a 17 mm socket can also remove the crimp from a mag tube apparently. All perfectly legal if the gun is on your fac first .
  5. My neighbours know I shoot as I shoot in my field behind my house
  6. Do you mean the WEBLEY XOCET ? Or another air rifle ?
  7. Probably damaged the glass by over fuelling. Soot on a bit of wet newspaper or a wet tea bag is as good as anything to clean the glass . I would not personally use a aluminium kettle due to the well documented risks but it probably won’t matter to many on PW 😂😂
  8. Looking for 30 mm qr rings to fit a picatiny rail
  9. The one I used to have was a waste of money as they would not pay out when I tried to claim . I think it was called American mutual or something similar !!
  10. I often take my 5 shot auto to shoot clays . If you have 10 birds on one stand you only have to reload once 😇
  11. Still Got a few knocking about . Used to use them on the marsh .
  12. Funnily enough we don’t have large numbers of pheasants on our shoot . We only put down 200 birds . Yet we regularly have large numbers of woodcock on the land here in NE cumbria .
  13. Just out today on a small shoot (120acre) and counted over 40 +?woodcock . 20 on one drive .
  14. Ah just there was a cased one sold at Michelle’s in Cockermouth last month for similar money.
  15. Toyota pro ace had my 17 plate since new . 40+ mpg out of it even half fully loaded

  17. I have often userd S&B sport 1oz slugs for boar and target shotgun . They work very well and are light on the shoulder compared to some others .
  18. Up on the right as you drive along the M74 past Beattock there is a huge wind farm . There are 5 turbine’s that were put on the wrong area due to it being a. SSSI . someone mistyped the coordinates for the satnav . It cost back then £450.000 to install each base so the company that did them said they would take the fine if they could leave them there .2.5 million pounds was the fine ! The company was working for Scottish power and went bust just before completing the project to avoid paying the fine .
  19. anyone know anything about these press Ed ? not in to shotgun reloading just found it helping a pal clean out his great uncles garage . They look as though they might have bits missing but have no idea what to look for ? mowdy
  20. no not at the moment as my electric is only costing me around £600 a year . 10Kw storage is going to be 5K so at the moment . just not sure about tying up my capital as estate agents have said it will not increase the value of the property though it might help it sell ?. House is B energy rated(88%) .it would be A rated but due to lpg it lost a few points on the energy rating. I did look at air source but rejected that due to cost and reliability issue's . I am a bit peed off at that as it is in the same band as a lot of inferior new builds but that's life
  21. I have a 250lt tank which supply's all the hot water for a 3 bed 4 bathroom house with plenty to spare .the water is red hot at the moment with using the emersion heater of the solar. I have been topping up my lazy spar from the hot tap as I have too much hot water at the moment LOL
  22. I have solar pe connected to my emersion tank via a solec box and my boiler is a a Worcester Greenstar LPG boiler it works very well
