just a quick question really!!! i was just wondering how to get into beating cos id love to have ago but i dont know of any shoots near me to ask about it cheers chris!!

well i went for a few hours we did 5 warrens my mate put his 2 young jills in 2 of them bolted nothing i put my hob in 1 guess wot nothing then the next 1 i just put my experienced older jill and bolted 1 healthy rabbit and the ferret was on its heels then the last 1 that was about 40 holes we netted it up n sent all three jills in but we missed a hole in deep cover n the rabbit bolted out of that one so we packed up all in all not a very good morning

hiya mate iv had ferrets for a few years now i got a hob n 2 jills but only got 1 of the jills today shes a bit nippy at moment but the way i do it to tame them is i spit on the back of my hand n let them drink it this way they know the hands there for drinking and not to nip at and usually if u feed them at the same time everyday n handle the same time they get into a routine and feel safe and shud not bite!!!! if you are going to be working them you will be better squeeking them of getting some bells n ringin them when you walk up the cage with food this way they will come out of the holes easier!!! tis is what i use n i never have any problems with my ferret "touch wood" let me know how you get on chris!!!

of our ferreting for a few hours today theres 2 of us with 4 jills and 2 hobs my mates whippet and my beddy pup so hopefully we will get something today blancked on the last few occasions so wish me luck and happy hunting!!!!!!
