  1. Workflow Dynamics is one of a number of companies owned by the directors https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07298928/officers https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/O8eYy2vMAEjqkRnoZJuKuz80sLQ/appointments
  2. A while back I heard that the concept of a 'god' or 'higher being' only came about because mankind hasn't been able to grasp the fact that we are here on our own, and yes a sizeable chunk of all conflicts are religion based...so if there is a 'God' what's it up to because the current mode of operation isn't working too well.
  3. Fujitsu were the Systems Integrator - it wouldn't be unreasonable to suspect that a reporting function wasn't part of the functional specification so it was never written?
  4. Having worked in the private sector for my entire working life (now retired), I reflect one was always wary of dealing with the public entities, be they local authorities, government bodies, HMRC or Defence. In the private sector we made business decisions, difficult though they often were. In the Public domain (i.e. the Post office) it seemed to be accepted that whilst the rewards (basic pay) were lower than employees could have collected had they switched into the private sector the trade off was rock-solid final salary pensions with often low retirement age thresholds - maybe 10 years earlier than the rest of us. This bred a culture (in the Public sector) of being exceedingly risk averse, where avoiding be accountable or not making any kind of personally attributable decision that might threaten one's ability to collect that pension was the norm. Mediocrity was an art form. This is why the Public sector are so keen on using Systems Integrators like Fujitsu - the official can say "we don't know so we have bought in experts to guide us", it absolves the decision maker who can hide behind the excuse of appointing and expert to guide on the use of public money at exorbitant cost, per man, per day - talking 4 figure numbers here. We are seeing this with the Post Office scandal - no one is standing up and owning the problems, either for appointing Fujitsu in the 1st place or actively managing the contract - when it went bad the Post Office knew, but no one wanted to own the hot potato of accountability - and still don't. Every day in post is one day nearer to that pension and retirement.
  5. I have a Vodafone sim only contract with 'Entertainment' built in, one of the options is 'YouTube Premium' (so no adverts) for 24 months. YouTube Premium on its own is £12/month. The cheapest SIM only contract from Voda at this time is £26/month. One logs into YouTube with whatever Email address that's associated with the Voda' account so not limited to use on a mobile device.
  6. Great, thanks Vic!
  7. As Computer Weekly revealed - the ability to edit horizon system data existed and was used, unaudited. Declared in High Court in 2019: Fujitsu staff had ‘unrestricted and unauditable’ remote access to Post Office branch systems
  8. Understood Vic. Google changes stuff all the time, you'll need to do it this way now: If you want to write an email in Gmail - select Compose, in the 'To' box type the 1st letter of the contact name and that automatically loads the contact list...
  9. Yeah, in the Post Office vs Bates film it was revealed that Fujitsu were editing the data tables - criminal fraud.
  10. Well it can't be Windows 11 at fault because Gmail is running inside a web browser - so the underlying OS (Win 11) is not exposed. If you want to write an email in Gmail - select Compose, in the 'To' box type the 1st letter of the contact name and that automatically loads the contact list... Does that help? Rs John
  11. Fujitsu....Systems Integrator...very protective over the contract because its a gravy train of revenue. They'd of known that the s/w is ****, the techies would have escalated their concerns for sure and nothing would have happened for fear of derailing the train. If the police investigate then it will all come out..
  12. You make a very good point - whatever the FSB are watching, it wasn't ISIS cells - more likely those individuals who might have posed a threat to Putin's chance of being re-elected....
  13. £3259 here, 3% rise, expensive when there are just two of us in the house - Band F.
  14. Yes legit and excellent, had some stock work done on a Perazzi there a year or so back.
  15. Maybe our chap was over in South America offering El Presidente advice on using 'economies of the truth' (fibbing), he is an expert in that area after all.
  16. You'd be forgiven for thinking that Royal Mail have a commercial suicide strategy wouldn't you? It just seems a matter of time before the UK follows the German example where Deutsche Bundesposte was taken over by DHL for both mail and parcels: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsche_Post
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-68513071 Crafty - most likely nothing will happen to him?
  18. I had the exact same problem of Themalite blocks and a gun cabinet fixing requirement - went to a fastener specialist and was recommended to use Excalibur Screw-bolts: https://www.excaliburscrewbolts.com/ One drills a hole to the size of the shaft of the bolt and just screw the bolt in - it cuts it's own thread into the material. The FAO came to do the inspection and was amazed - couldn't rock or budge the cabinet at all - signed it off and went away with the above URL on a bit of paper. They are also used to mount TV wall brackets apparently.
  19. We'd like to downsize - just the two of us (no kids, no one to choose our old people's home), aged mid 60s, nice 4 bed detached house nice area - we'd like a two bed bungalow with a double garage, we have been looking for years....like rocking horse droppings for rarity.
  20. Just scarified mine using one of these (had it for years) https://www.worldofwolf.co.uk/wolf-garten-multi-change-roller-moss-removal-rake-urm3 and it now looks thread-bare When the lawn starts showing signs of life I'll apply weed n feed, that'll kill off the remaining moss and encourage the grass to flourish.
  21. I don't understand golf at all, it seems totally pointless....has to be a social activity like busting clays with a bunch of mates which seems like a good idea to me....😀
  22. Golf pro Georgia Ball on her viral 'mansplaining' TikTok As they say, every day is a school day - 'Mansplaining', had to look it up on Wikipedia - I clearly live a sheltered life. I do wonder if this is really about the unhelpful input delivered by some off camera man or 10m chaps ogling gym-wear?
  23. State pension is funded by our historical NI (National Insurance) contributions, not income tax. In a fifty year working life I have tipped plenty into the pot and now at retirement age it is time to take it back. I was about 30 years of age (66 now), working in a garage when I finally twigged (slow learner😀) that there is no correlation between how hard you work and how much you get paid - there ought to be in a fair world but as most of us have worked out - life isn't fair. Back then in the garage there wasn't even an occupational pension to be had.
  24. Just had a letter from the DWP to say my state pension is rising to £986.52 (paid every 4 weeks) from April - 52weeks/4 = 13 payments so £12,824 - so that will completely wipe out the personal tax allowance of £12,570 in a single pass...oh deep joy.
