    Used shells

I'm after around 50 old used rifle shells to turn into keyring pendants for a school project.any calibre of suitable size or sizes. Can anyone help please? Willing to pay a suitable amount. Thanks, Timb
  2. I'm no expert, but I've had both. Howard Leight are by far the best IMHO.
  3. I agree with the ban. What spoorting use can these weapons possibly have ? Who, other than armed services and the law enforcement community, need more than ten rounds in their magazine ?
  4. My son is well into his wildlife, and wants a night vision monocular for Christmas so he can watch the badgers and foxes at night in the woods. The going rate seems to be around £150 - £200. Anybody got some good tips on what to look for please? Or which model is best ? Thanks. Timb
  5. I have a 812. It took 50 shots or so, and a good clean to get it going, but it has never let me down, and cycles even 21g clay cartridges reliably. I'd recomend it to anyone looing for a cheap semi. To be fair I've never shot an expensive semi, but mine works and that'sd what matters to me.
  6. Fair comment fenboy. If I use heavier cartridges it never fails.
  7. I have one, very pleased with it. Mine will cycle 21g very well, fails to eject once in about every 40 shots. I've found the secret is to keep it clean and very lightly oiled.
  8. I'd be interested - I'm an hour away and a shift worker, so probably could not commit to all of the dates, but would ddo as many as possible. Do you have dates arranged yet ? I enjoy a bit of beating. Regards, Timb
  9. Lock it away. I'd rather be burgled than shot.
  10. Looks identical to an old sbs I have - which was made in Belgium.
  11. Thanks again to all. I already have a shopping list for BassPro !
  12. Thanks to all for your help, specially blackbird and brett1985. I'm seriously looking forward to my hols now, I might bring back a photo to post. Timb
  13. Happy New Year everyone, Im taking the wife and three boys to Florida for a fortnight in May, I'd like us all to have a go on a pistol / rifle range if possible. Has anybody got any experience / suggestions for us ? Will I have to book in advance, or are there lots of places to have a go ? Any advise would be very welcome. We'll be staying in Kissimmee. Thanks, Timb
  14. So, after a few years of bitching and whining to the wife about needing a new, better, more expensive gun, she eventually gave in (they all do eventually apparantly) and told me to go out and buy one. Can't hit a bloody thing with it What should I do, keep on trying with the new one or go back to the old faithful ? Don't think it's a matter of gun fit, they both feel ok. Might it just be confidence ?
  15. That takes me back. ASI Sniper was my first airgun, and a Paratrooper the second. Happy days.

Hi Just scrapping an old (20yr) HW77 air rifle. Anybody want a spare stock for a replacement / project ? Free to a good home if you'll pay the postage.. Timb
  19. Thanks all, just what I suspected. Richie, got it from FA Andersons, in east Grinstead. A really good shop. Timb
  20. Hi just treated myself to a new B725 sporting. Its lovely ! My question is how easy/hard should the DS chokes be to insert/remove ? Mine go in nearly all the way by finger pressure only, but need the choke key to do the last four or five turns, is that normal ? Same on removal, no way can I remove them without the key. Perhaps they might loosen up a bit with use ? Thanks all, Timb
