  4. Hi, as above I'm looking for a SP. Based in South devon but can travel within reason. Thanks on advance for any replies.
  5. Bumping, any polaris rangers for sale?
  6. Thanks Chairman, can you still get parts for those? I thought Farr went bust a few years back.

    John Deere Gator

As above looking for a Gator. Will consider all options (not electric). Located in South Devon but can travel. Looking for a project or cheap runner.
  9. I thought I'd compile a brief list of the bits I used to build a magnet speed controller. Parts: 1. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5V-16V-10A-PWM-DC-Motor-Speed-Controller-Regulator-LED-Dimmer-Speed-Control-UK-/392955429219?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 I used a similar one to this, shop around and you might be able to save a quid or a few pennies this was just one that is pretty much the same as what I bought. 2. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ABS-BLACK-PLASTIC-ELECTRONICS-PROJECT-BOX-ENCLOSURE-74-X-51-X-26MM-/191891545010?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-grommet-PVC-Rubber-sleeve-pro-power-all-sizes-7-6mm-9-6mm-/282399225008?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 Other bits include Wire, terminals, heat shrink and an inline fuse holder. The build is fairly self explanatory. Just drill hole in box, make sure its in the correct position otherwise the lid won't fit. Insert speed controller, do nut up and replace dial. Drill hole in the other end of the box, make sure it's correct for the grommet you have and wire bundle. Thread wires, solder fuse holder and terminals and Jobs a goodn. I prefer the blade fuses to the glass ones as they're less fragile and easier to obtain. I did have some heat shrink, solder, terminals left over from wiring my camper so it did only cost me £10. You could do it cheaper though if you just glued the wires in and ommited the grommet, used an old kitchen tupperware for the box etc. Hope this helps someone save a few quid to buying one. If anyone knows where you can buy the electronic board for a random delay flapper timer, please share as that the next project.
  10. Cheers strimmer, I've only got a 12 bore semi. Thanks for the offer though.
  11. I've just found I don't have the range with #6. The crows sometimes just linger outside of what I can currently kill them at and would like to try #5.
  12. Hi All, Just looking to see if anyone in the south devon area has any 5 shot fibre cartridges they are looking to offload. I've been asked to help out with a crow problem but the cost of 5 shot is pretty expensive so just seeing if anyone had any available going they no longer needed.
  13. Cheers but need something waterproof really. Although you could put a liner on it good price tho.
  14. I've never really liked shoulder bags, they're always swinging about and never feel very secure and the extra backpack strap helps spread any load even if it's a light one. Will check out the ex army day sack.
  15. Does anyone use a wax cotton rucksack when beating. With the new restrictions in place our beating team have to carry there lunch and drinks with them and I wonder if a small rucksack might be more suitable than a game bag. Otherwise the usual list of game bags comes up, mainly the Monrose (which everyone says looks ugly) or the game bags being sold on Ogdens Shooting supplies.
  16. Hoggs of Fife struther Smock for beating.
  17. As per title looking for a barbour wax, size 42 in olive green. Located in the South West. Exeter, Totnes, Plymouth. Cheers
  18. Looking for the above please. Cheers
  19. Hi Guys, I did some searching but couldn't find a simple answer. I have a. 243 sako 75 synthetic stock with swivel studs fitted. I want to fit a 9-13 harris swivel bipod but I want it to be quick release as I shoot from a vehicle and in the field on foot and to fit in my slip, cabinet, etc. Does anyone know if I need to fit an adaptor to my rifle to gain a quick release solution? Cheers

  22. Hi All, Does anyone know if there are any clay pigeon shoots in the Fletching, Ringmer, Newick, Chailey areas of East Sussex, apart from Northall CPC? I remember going to one in the woods over the back of fletching, it used to advertise in the Friday ad, but I cant find any information on it either. Any help, much appreciated.
