It's the very buget one's that aren't very good that one looks ok, better quality the further up the range, seems you have a bargain there π

Axminster do a good range but don't buy the buget range variable speed, mine went through 3 speed controllers I now have a record coronet price about Β£950 a very big step up, if funds are limited the axminster manual speed lathes are ok, look at a starter set of chisels to begin with again axminster is ok also look in wh Smith for woodturning magazine some good ideas in the magazine and tips

Contact the dealer and ask them not to open it, then open it when you get there and inspect for damage in front of them

I had that in mine, take the covers off and disconnect the plugs on the circuit boards and wipe the connections, reassemble and hopefully that will cure it, if not try to get hold of the manufacture to service them

A303 semi auto 28" barrel 2 3/4" chamber, 4 flush chokes made in 1985 reasonable condition for year, stock untouched so with curved butt pad about 14" lop but can be extended Β£250 corsham wiltshire

I use red ones with a go faster stripe as there the best π

The argument I have seen is that skeet is more open than cylinder but 1/4 up seems to be about normal, seeming these chokes have a " magical" profile it's best to pattern with your chosen cartridge
