I copped my first real slap 2 weeks ago, a combination of bad mounting and some naff cartridges, really whacked the underside of my cheekbone. hurt for a few days, then eased off, thought I would be ok but today I could only manage 20 birds, that was enough, really painfull. Anyone know of any treatments to help the healing process along...? Bit miffed...I am going to buy my new gun next weekend.....and was hoping to have a 'full slab' session ATB Tony

Some interesting reading here... I am a 'mongrel' Right handed, when I started shooting rifles in the Sea Cadets I found it easier and was more successful shooting left handed. onto shotguns I had to got the LH route, left eye dominant. I cannot shoot with both eyes open, have tried,TBH I should perhaps go to the practice stand with a slab or two and embarrass myself trying to shoot with both eyes open. The 'kid' on the other hand.. is a 'lefty' shoots left handed, writes left handed, but plays guitar right handed, fly's his RC planes with a R/H set... ATB Tony

Yep..Life's hard...then you die.......... Have you looked at Utilities ? Gas/Water/Elec, I am in Water Utilities, they seem to have regular recruitment drive for Grads. ATB Tony

If the R/H are cast as much as the cast in my L/H (hope that makes sense) you will struggle to shoot a RH left handed. ATB Tony p.s if you do not find a L/H one PM me.
