    Good Times

Thought the head shot was when you went up to the pigeon and put the barrel in his face to finish the job??? As there was a shot in his side??? LOL
  7. Hi all What do peeps recommend as a good vermin killing pellet for .177 air rifles? I have a BSA comet and is about 11lbs of power. Have used pest controls but find there no good for long range shots, and where we shoot the pigeons get spooked very easy so need to shoot at about 40 - 50 yrds!! Look forward to your help!!
  8. Hi again all Could someone give me some advice on how to check the lbs power of my air rifle? Is there some sort of tool i need to buy and if so what and how much?? Happy hunting!
  9. Thanks for the ideas guys but i went for the jack pyke camo cloth tape works great no sticky mess and gives good grip!
  10. Hi all Just got another permisson today with the choice of pigeons and rabbits! Now this is the first for rabbits so any advice on rabbit hunting would be great! Is there any type of decoys for rabbits or is it a sit and wait job fully camo'ed up to the max! Look forward to all your comments and advice! Happy hunting and kind regards!
  11. Hi all I have been hunting pigeons in a local field and find that they are very crafty and can spook very easily! What do people prefer GUILLIE SUIT or NORMAL CAMO? What do people find better? Is there a difference? Happy Hunting!
  12. LOL nice suit mate maybe we should try getting one of them Farmer B then the pigeons will think we are one of them! So any ideas on camo peeps? Would standard UK or US army camo do the job or is it all about real tree?
  13. I have managed to get one kill here with Farmer B but that was with no decoys and just laying in wait for the odd pigeon to land which then brings in loads more! I think stalking them would be really hard! As soon as you get within 50-60 yrds of them they fly off no matter how camo'ed up you are!
  14. Hi All I seem to find pigeons are very crafty at my new shoot and when i am laying in wait as soon as one comes into sight and i move the rifle to aim the pigeons gone?? Is this because thay can see some thing reflecting from the rifles barrel or scope?? How have people camo'ed there gun does any one stick camo tape around the barrel stock etc?? Pictures would be great for some ideas! Thanks all!
  15. Im with BASA which cost £20
