  1. Thanks mate, hes said a week from ordering for delivery, but reckon will be a bit longer. Hopefully worth the wait though.
  2. Ordered some from there today, £54 for a pack of 2. What's your thoughts on them?
  3. Looking for a set of 20ga to 410ga adapters if anyone has any they are looking to get rid of.
  4. Just a bit wary with not me shooting with it. Time to shop around in the morning. If anyones got any they dont use, I'm interested. Thanks guys 👍
  5. Thanks Andy, their website says out of stock but will ring them in the morning. Whats peoples experience of using them? It's a non eject gun so hopefully that will eliminate some problems if what I've read, but are they safe I suppose is my main question, as my 10 year old will be using them a lot more than me.
  6. Hi guys, haven't been on for a while, and hope this is posted in the right place. Ive had a few year break from shooting, but recently got back into it as my daughter wanted to be involved as well. Shes got a little single barrel 410 bolt action which she loves, but feels its missing the extra barrel as she sees me with my o/u. Ive got a 20ga over and under in brilliant condition that i dont use much, it fits my daughter really well, but has just got that little bit to much recoil for her, even with a 21g shell in it. Just been reading through a few posts and noticed once talking about reducer adapters. Are these reliable to use? are they available from 20ga to 410ga, and wheres the best place to order from, as i reckon this could solve all my problems, without swapping guns anymore. Many thanks in advance.
  7. Blasting = another term for shooting :look: As regards to the hay - combine etc, it was just the information the farmer has just replaid to me, i wont know much else until I get there tomorrow. Many thanks for the reply though
  8. Just wondering if any guy's had done this before. Ive just had a phone call off one of my permissions asking me to go along tomorrow afternoon, to follow the combine which is cutting the hay, and blast the running rabbits. Ive heard of this before, but never had the chance to do it, and wondered if any of you guy's have done this in the past, and any hints and tips Cheers Andy
  9. excellant, thank you. im doing a bit of internet shopping first for a couple of weeks, then go visit my local shooting club for a look in their shop. I quite like the look of the Lanbers as a couple of friends have had them, but wouldnt buy theirs as i didnt think they fitted 100%.
  10. Thanks BerettaSV10 for the fast reply, just looking at the Lanber guns then funnily enough. Realistically, is £450 a fair price to pick up something decent for use on a regular basis?
  11. Hi Guys, After a while off the shooting circuit, I've now got back into it, and wondered if anyone could give me any recommendations on what kind of gun.For years I have done mainly pigeon decoying, and rifle shooting, but now want to seriously want to get back into the clay shooting side of it more than field sports. Unfortunately after 10 years, last Tuesday my trusty Biakal o/u 12g give up the ghost, so now looking for a nice second hand o/u 12g purely for clay shooting at local grounds. At present my budget is around the £450 mark (once I've sold my .223), and looking if anyone could recommend the best type of gun I could get for my money. Not to concerned about makes, as long as its consistent, as this will be a long term purchase. Hopefully there is something decent out there for that kind of money, as I appreciate i can't go into the new gun market. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, also recommended barrel lengths and choke sizes specifically for the clays. Cheers, Andy
  12. Hi all, looking for a set of part worn 215 65 16 AT tyres for my freelander. Don't mind what make, as all offers will be considered.used to have a set of Colway CTrax on my pajero, which were a great all rounder with hardly any road noise on them at all, so if anyone does have a set of those I would be interested, as they are hard to come across a decent set nowadays. I'm in the Stoke On Trent area if anyone does have a set, but don't mind a short travel to pick them up. Cheers, Andy.
  13. Ive got a 51 plate freelander which I love to bits, with standard 215 65 r16 road tyres fitted onto standard Landrover 5 spoke rims. My question is would a set of bf goodrich 235 85 16 tyres fit onto them, as ive found a set within my budget. Don't want to get them to be lumbered with them if they don't fit.
  14. Hi guys, Not sure if this is posted in the correct section, apologies if not. Im looking for a set of 215 65 16" all terrain tyres for my freelander. Not to bothered if they are not new, as long as treads are even all round. Anyone got any for sale, please let me know. Cheers.
