  1. .22 requires less cocking effort in a springer than .177 .22 pellet is heavier therefore doesnt need to be propelled so fast for 12 ft lbs .177 needs to go best part of 200 ft/s faster for 12 ft lb so stronger spring / more cocking effort needed. Tony Actually as the .177 pellet is much lighter than the .22 pellet, it is therfore easyer to propell faster and reach 12 ft/lbs, HG

  3. Multisound D8 Pocket I bought it in Ireland for €200, could never find one in UK for as long as i was there. Much better than anything else on the market. The calls are on a memory chip and can be changed, Very loud speaker, have an fox memory chip on order with 8 fox calls www.multisound.it Cheers, still a bit steep for me to warrant buying one really! i'll stick with the button whistle and my andre georgescu whistle.   6. Can any of you guys tell me if it is legal for me to get a gunsmith to screwcut my rifle, and not send it for re-proofing? I belive that as long as you do not wish to sell or give the rifle to anyone else before re-proofing then it is perfectly legal, is this true? Cheers HG

  9. I have an as new (less than 15 shots fired) Concorde .410 O/U for sale, 3" chambers, Magnum proofed: £400. Is a non-ejector so it would be ideal for a beginner, as the cartriges cant be flung into the youngsters face. Cheers HG

  12. Thanks for that :yp: :yp: The cheapest on guntrader is £670 (new) and the cheapest secondhand synthetic is £650. So i dont see how that can be right?
