.22 requires less cocking effort in a springer than .177 .22 pellet is heavier therefore doesnt need to be propelled so fast for 12 ft lbs .177 needs to go best part of 200 ft/s faster for 12 ft lb so stronger spring / more cocking effort needed. Multisound D8 Pocket I bought it in Ireland for €200, could never find one in UK for as long as i was there. Much better than anything else on the market. Can any of you guys tell me if it is legal for me to get a gunsmith to screwcut my rifle, and not send it for re-proofing? I belive that as long as you do not wish to sell or give the rifle to anyone else before re-proofing then it is perfectly legal, is this true? Cheers HG

I have an as new (less than 15 shots fired) Concorde .410 O/U for sale, 3" chambers, Magnum proofed: £400. Is a non-ejector so it would be ideal for a beginner, as the cartriges cant be flung into the youngsters face. Cheers HG
