  1. I had a more thorough look and it was there. I had been looking to far near the back of the thing (and there was a some mud obstructing my view) thanks for the help mate. Saved me loads of time.
  2. I'll dig out the tyorch and magnifying glass. Thanks for the help though. I'll try those places first.
  3. Thanks for the reply, but I can't see it anywhere around the exhaust. Apparently the nice people at Arctic cat decided to test people!
  4. Anyone know where abouts the serial number can be found on this quad? Thanks. Edit: As you probably guessed the title should say Arctic Cat.
  5. Yeah sorry forgot to say, its a shotgun I'm after. I'll have a look into Tony Morris as thats only 15 minutes away. thanks for the replies.
  6. Hey. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a good place to buy a gun. I'm in Hereford but would be willing to travel50 miles or so to go to a reallygood shop. Preferably somewhere that has a good selectio of 2nd hand guns it would be even better if they let you test. Any help is greatly appreciated. Rob
  7. Hereford, West Midlands. Hey, he is going to Holme Lacy college. With regards to the left/right handed. On gun tarder there are right handed 1,000 12g over and unders but only 100 left handed and 5 ambidextrous, from what your saying does this mean some are advertised as R/H when they are not?
  8. Thanks for the reply. I forgeot to mention he was undecided whether to buy new or 2nd hand. I've had a look on guntrader, but will have a more specific look. The thing about magnum shells is useful, I dont think thats something he would of considered but obviously necessary with the whole gamekeeping thing.
  9. Hey there. I don't shoot myself, although I am hoping to get into it in the near future. At the moment I am trying to get some information to help my girlfirends brother. He is starting a gamekeeping course in september and also has an apprenticeship. Anyway, he got his shotgun licence and rushed to buy a gun with very little help. Luckily he didn't spend to much money as the thing is a piece of ****. So now he is looking to buy a half decent gun. He has a budget of about £1000 although he could spend a little more if needs be. He wants the gun for a variety of things from lamping to decoying to clay shooting. The major issue is the fact he is left handed. He wants a 12 Bore over and under, but apart from that is open to any suggestions. I realise the best thing for him to do is to try as many guns as possible to see what suits him, but I was hoping to get some opinions to narrow down the search and understand what kind of things he should be looking out for. I've done some research on the internet and there seems to be a bit of a split on whether a left handed gun is a necessity or not (and worth the premium), and it seems to depend on what people get used to. So whats your opinions on the whole l/h gun issue? Has anyone got any reccomendations for guns that he should try out. From what I've looked at online the Browning 525 seems like a good starting point. Whats your thoughts on this gun? We are located in Hereford, can anyone reccomend the best gun shops in the area, he went to Litts in Newport and he may go back there. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated, as I dont ant him getting ripped off or wasting his money on a gun that doesnt suit him. thanks in advance. Rob
