Probably far cheaper and better to run/drive than any UTV. All UTV's iv seen are noisy, rough and bloody expensive. You can buy a decent second hand double cab pickup for less than the cost of a new UTV. Maybe it's a fashion thing, who knows?

Best have a look at the home office guidelines on mounting the safe mate. Also mention what you’re thinking to your FEO. My understanding (or it’s better) is it needs to mounted into solid brickwork, or chemically fixed if into block? Also consider load bearing etc..

My understand of the law is that you must take reasonable precautions to secure the firearm. That is all.

There are a lot of FEO making up additional requirements, which they have no legal right to do.

  3. They have a sister company called Vagor. They market it as the best quality, then knock it down in price as looks like its an absolute bargain.

Of the stuff iv bought, some lines are excellent quality for the money, other lines very disappointing.

It is all made in china and i get the feeling they make use of a lot end of the line runs from other manufactures. Its just luck of the draw really.

  4. I 100% agree with Wesley’s comments above, and if a person is wielding a firearm, or an object designed to replicate a firearm in public, then the police have to take the appropriate and necessary actions to neutralise the situation to protect themselves and others.

However, I did watch the tv program and my first thoughts were the same as the OP’s. The officers recollection of events appeared very emotive and purposely exaggerated to be as anti gun as possible.

I would be defending the officer if she was a firearms officer and said ‘I saw a man point a military style rifle at me and took evasive action which resulted in a fatal shooting’.

But I cannot support her emotive story that makes this air rifle, albeit with an illegal spring, sound like a 50 cal. She says she saw a muzzle flash, followed by a shot. The reality  is there would be no muzzle flash and the noise, at the distance referred to in the program would hardly be audible to the human ear.

  5. First attempt - Graphite penetrating fluid (better than WD40)

Second - Try tapping the choke key with a hammer the wrong way, then the right way, you’d be surprised how often this works

Third - Put into the freezer then pour boiling water onto the outside of the barrels whilst turning the choke key

Forth - Choke key in vice (can repeat the step above if necessary)

Fifth - Stand in diesel over night

    Sixth - Oxy acetylene (carefully)

While for some who bought at the top in 2021 they are currently still underwater, however the majority of holders are in profit.

If they want to sell us cheap Bitcoin, them let em...

I try to think of Bitcoin as tool.

A hammer is a useful tool if I want to hammer things.

Bitcoin is a useful tool if I want to transact without a third party approving my spending, or if I want complete sovereignty over my money.

Then when you realise there is a finite amount of Bitcoin, and that is an incredibly useful tool for most people to own, even if only as an insurance policy against banks blocking their spending or defaulting,  then the price will only ever increase over a reasonable timeframe.

Infinite amount of people, limited supply of Bitcoin.

  7. I am, what is described as, a Bitcoin Maximalist!

From reading some of the comments in this thread there are plenty that share the same ideology, they just don’t understand why Bitcoin is so important to upholding it in a digital world.

If you want your money to be separate from the state and governmental control, Bitcoin is your only bet.

Here’s a good book if anyone is interested.

Have they formally confirmed the identities yet?

Maybe the police haven’t but I live very close and it’s a small local community. Everyone has confirmed it’s Robert and Rose.

All I know is he was very depressed because she was leaving him, and the house in all photos is where Robert was living (the matrimonial home)/ shooting ground.

So yes, saying Robert shot Rose before shooting himself is speculation, because it could have been the other way round, but I find that very very hard to believe.

Back with a bit more fatuous rudeness then. Carry on if it makes you feel better.

Well said on all your points.

Some people really do have little understanding on how our democracy functions. Clarification isn't unreasonable and it works both ways. It's irelevent if you agree with the point being questioned or not.

I’m not too sure what all the fuss is about really.
He deceived his wife and lied to people regarding an affair, which happens on a daily basis all over the world.
The only question is, was the person he was having an affair with underage? He says not. Time will no doubt tell.

Jesus h! There really are some fossils on this forum!

    👍

  11. Thing is, like it or not, trading in cash is a massive inconvenience to most people. Iv already told this forum what they should be supporting if they want to buy things without relying on their bank to approve every transaction. Give you a clue it starts with a B also.

  12. Tbf all 'air gunners' make me laugh.

An airgun is useful tool to have, I’m sure most of us have one or two.

But they all seem to take a 30 yard pop gun and spec it up like its a 50 cal Barrett.....

They put more expensive and larger magnification scopes on a sub 12ftlb airgun than most normal people put on a centre fire 😂.
