he would have as the lead pellets deformed the steel could have gone thru the cheeks also non lead pellets for air guns have been tested and are useless after a short range they also don't deform

steel does not deform like lead does after hitting flesh it will keep going further

if people keep saying there is nothing wrong with steel shot wait till someone is killed with it by accident where if it was lead shot they may not have been killed as lead deforms steel does not

i use to use pyrodex in an 8 bore muzzle loader for geese and a hawkens .50 cal smooth bore muzzle loader i should have kept the hawkens

if you want to try it out use pyrodex it acts like black powder but is not so dangerous

because the law does not allow using air rifles to shoot deer no matter what calibre or power it is and they would not grant you a certificate for a 50 calibre air rifle to shoot rabbits

no point in having an air rifle in the uk with a very big bore as you cant shoot any thing but targets

i use to get 8 bore wads and a card punch from henry kranks worth a try

if your gun has a straight stock try using it left handed or try training your self to swap your vision from one eye to the other i done this years ago and i can shoot left or right handed with shotguns or rifles ps i forgot to add this will stop you from using binos or 3d glasses

only gun i can think of is the gunpower stealth in .22 or .25 as its power adjust has more adjustment my .25 when i had it at full power was 34.5 ft 1lbs lowest setting was 8 ft1lbs if i remember i now have it set at 44.5 ft1lbs but have not tested the lowest setting as i now have a regulator on it
