got mine from JTF £1.50 each twist n lock line props had them 3yrs and still going strong,i also use spring clamps from £land 8 in a pack to hold netting to poles,you dont have to spend a fortune to have some good kit,

This season inland 3 canada geese 2 greylag's and 15 mallards,It's been a good season but not seen alot about the last few weeks thou.

Me and a mate have had permission on some land for a while,now the land next to it no one has been shooting there for a few years,we were told were the farmer lived a few miles away and we've ifd and ard about going to see them,so yesturday the ground was way to muddy now its been ploughed,so we took the bull by the horns and whent to see farmer nocked on the door lady opened it explained what we were there for she said come in and gave us permission in writting there and them ,the land has a river running at the side a flight pond at one end of the land 3 good sized splashes,not that they are what we were looking at never crossed our minds honest ,enyway just goes to show if you dont ask you dont get so dont put it off go knock on them doors

I've got it downloaded seems ok,used to use a diary not done that for a few years so this has given me a kick start to keep records again :good:

Thought id get out for a couple of hours yesterday,while visitors came to see my latest grand daughter.took the stealth .410 stood under some trees and came away with 1 squirrel 1 jay 3 crows

A farmer told me he paint eye's on the bales that puts them off,i've seen some just before j16 m6 south bound,they had smiley faces painted on them. cheers chris.

Not been shooting for a month due to bronchitis,Enyway yesterday when up to permition farmer has been spreading slurry so i thuoght id give the crows a bashing,It way misty/foggy when igot there could hear some grays flighting past but couldnt see them,so i set up for crows 3 decoys out and sat 3 rows back in the maze crop were its only about 5ft high,then about 9.30 heard canada's coming changed carts to steels 40 yards to my right they came over 1st shot hit it target down it came,1st one of the season in the bag well chuffed a couple of skiens came over but well out of range,so total for the day is :- 1 goose,1 magpie,2 jays,39 crows picked & 12 lost in the maze,All for 72 carts + 1 steel cart well chuffed,I was using lylvale 36gram 1s in steel & HULL super fast 28gram 6s thou an escort with 1/2 choke. cheers chris.

I used 1/2 most of the time but last time i went decoying i changed down to 1/4,i got 37 pigeons for 50 shots which is good for me so im going to leave it in for the geese when i get chance.
