tedward i also have a beretta a303 with 2 stars/psf proof marks but i love this gun so much i simply bought a new armsan a612 for hp steel cartridges proofed for steel with a fleur-de-lys these come with a 4 year warranty happy days will keep using the beretta for what it was originally designed for

Hi All, Have these marks on the barrel can anyone tell me exactly what they mean as not sure think the fleur-de-lis is the hp steel mark but what is the 2 crowns with SUP wrote underneath them and also the fleur-de-lis has CIP on top of it !

funny thing is it still seem to be cheaper than home loading with the price of the ingredients and the soaring cost of delivery charges for dg thats if you can even get anyone to deliver powder, unless you are lucky enough to have a supplier near you like clay&game etc..

Hi all, having problems setting the wad rammer tube height for loading 3" hulls with 36gm of #3 steel shot do anyone have advice on how to do this please the loader is a mec 600 jr mk5, I know you undo the allen screw to move it up and down and there are marks on the tube but cant find a reference to what mark to set it to bearing in mind I want to load steel with steel shot plastic wads, how do I know if its being pushed down far enough! thanks guys just bought a black a612s new from youngmans £399 4 year warranty cant go wrong for that price fitted one of my beretta extended mobil chokes now 30" barrel took it out today throws nice patterns with victory starlights, rc sipes, and proper stone deads

how come they are compatible with Beretta Mobil chokes mick miller and how did you find that out even my local dealer didn't know that !

do you need a section 1 for these guns as don't they have a removable magazine plug/rod !

The armsan a612 semi auto seem to be a great gun for the money but whats it really like , i would like to hear from people that actually have one and use it regularly as i am considering buying a 612 in matt black synthetic. Regards alf..

what cartridges are you using Guerini Guy if they are european you are probably already shooting with english 51/2 shot thats plenty

when i had mine if i wanted to make the powder or shot bushes hold more i simply cut them shorter a bit at a time until it droped the correct weight they are only plastic i also countersunk the top edge as well so ingredients slid down nicely worked a treat .

just wondering as someone advised me to wear eye protection when shooting a s/a especially when facing the wind do to the possibility of debris from the fired cartridge hitting you in the face .

when it come to choice i was just wondering what you guys prefer to shoot between a o/u or a s/a and why !
