If you look at the price of the cars they are too cheap.
I can obviously see that! But how do they profit from the scam?
-
Someone please tell me what the scam is??

Only a few years back they had them at the Stow *** Quy, Country Show!
A great crowd puller and they even let children have a go. -

I love a proper kipper but hate the flipping bones!!
Takes me ages to eat one. My wife on the other hand just munches on through and calls me a sissy. 🤣

I'm no lover of the bureaucratic behemoth that is the EU, but we all know alcohol is not great if taken in excess. The cost to the nhs is 3.5 to 4.4 billion a year. Smoking is 2.5 to 3.6 billion a year and we already have "graphic images" on fag packets.
It is only a matter of time.
Some interesting stats.Tax raised by alcohol = £12.6 billion
Tax raised by tobacco = £10.7 billion
Both OBR 22-23 estimates.
Far fewer smokers than drinkers.
Cost to NHS PA due to obesity £6.5 billion due to rise to £9.7 billion by 2050!
Maybe we should ban chips and cheese?

Watched three last night and lived every minute!
Could have binged the lot but I decided to have some to look forward to.
Funny and informative. Love the yokel!

You are a man of my own heart , up until a few years ago they used to have two sporting auctions a year at Kings Lynn on a Friday night , the auction would start at 5pm and go on till about 10pm , when I was at work we could leave off at 3pm on a Friday so I used to go to Kings Lynn straight from work which was about 65 miles , sometimes if there wasn't much traffic I would get there just before the viewing finished and I would just be able to look at some of the stuff on the various tables , you would see just about everything and very often you would see paintings by Kenzie Thorpe and stacks of other local stuff .
One day I got there just before viewing ended and didn't have time to look at the guns , time wore on and the guns finally came up for sale , half way through the bloke raised this side by side above his head and in the catolouge it stated it was a German sawver ? 30 inch barrels , pistol grip , non ej , the auctioneer started off with 50 quid and nobody put there hand up , at the time I could had done with a cheap spare gun so I stuck my number card up , it nearly went to me and somebody went to 55 , I thought I will go one more and that would be it , I went one more and low and behold I was then the owner of a gun I hadn't even seen , when I got it I couldn't believe the condition it was in , it was spotless and looked as if it had never been fired , I started to use it and it came up a treat and very soon became my everyday gun , that gun fired many 1000s of cartridges till finally the top rib came loose and after a quick repair I carried on using it for a few more years until the day came where the bottom came adrift and the poor ole gun ended up in the melting pot , that ole gun was one of the best buys I had done at a auction and I have still got the bottom rib in my garage to remind me of all the years we spent together, what an ole softie I an becoming
I used to love that auction. Got a few bargains there.

It sounded incredible that the French would lay on buses, but the defining part was "(in effect)" so I wondered what he meant and looked for a source. The link is from 13/10/22 so a further question arises, why did Farage say that now? Regarding sources; it is not about who you trust but "reading" widely and gathering information in and sifting through it.
Let's have a quick tangent. Another thread about the Beeb and Begum started and lots said they would not watch it, so you have to ask if that's the right way to get a fair view (I've not seen all of it yet but what I have doesn't seem to do her any favours, no spoilers please 😉).
If someone puts something up that seems incredible I think we have a duty to either ask for clarification or sources or to seek them out ourselves to see whether it is truly incredible, half truth, or lie. If you read it and just take it as face value you do yourself no favour and I believe that the saying is correct; "An unexamined life is not worth living!"
Whilst I don’t generally agree with your politics (based on assumptions from your posts) I don’t think anyone can argue your last paragraph!

I’ve been contemplating trying these;
They seem to have good reviews and are sensibly priced.
Anyone on here had a go with them?
-
I must say I was watching with one eye for most of it, waiting for the bang! 😅
Cheers for that.

Good luck to him!!

What did you win
A Black powder pistol and some bullets! I had a cheeky go for the .357 and a BP rifle but failed.

A big element of the business plan for these schemes is to build huge battery storage.
These companies will then buy cheap electricity at off peak times and sell it back to the grid for a profit at peak times.
A major problem here is fire!!! https://www.bestmag.co.uk/teslas-lithium-ion-megapack-causes-three-day-fire-during-test-australian-300mw-ess/ -
Horrid person but this made me laugh!!

Sunflower oil as it handles higher temperatures!
A decent potato (King Edward, Maris Piper) peeled, chopped and washed!!! Then most importantly dried.
Half cook them (until they get loose) take them out and set aside (to cool down) if you can wait. Then whack the oil back on until it’s hot, cook them to almost done, shaking them so they move through the oil levels. Remove for 1 minute leaving the oil heating up and pop theM back in until they sound like they are going to snap/crack usually 2/3 minutes!!
Sounds a faff but they are great.
