Yes I do mean a .17hmr. Thanks It appeared a bit confusing over the phone what is or isnt allowed re vermin and it appeared I was going to need to "argue" the case to posess the correct weapon to deal with it. I specifically didnt go for anythiing bigger than .22 as I was quite sure they wouldnt permit it to a "novice" so to speak. (and rightly so) but I got the impression I needed something more than permission from the landowners and the reason ie vermin and couldnt see what it was?

I have just put in my FAC application, .22 with moderator .177 with moderator. Opps forgot to put down for FAC shotgun and wouldnt mind semi auto .22 following a night out at the weekend where one of the lads turned up with his. I had a question so I called them, (firearms team) "can I add these to the list when the firearms officer comes to visit?" "Yes you can, but you will need a good reason" Now Im going to be shooting vermin, what other reason should I have? Any thoughts? Cheers

Im also growing Atlantic giant pumpkin this year did it a few years ago and got one to 92lb Im sure this year will be bigger with a bit more water and food! I think they can take as much as you can give. Anyone fancy a pumpkin comp? heaviest for the Pigeonwatch Crown! or should that be Pumpkinwatch crown?

Took my misses to London for the weekend. Spent the Friday chasing up and down the Thames looking for the bloody lost whale (if you remember it) eventually saw it dying on the back of a barge, she loved that! Went and got drunk in Covent Garden, I loved that Took her toa Brick Lane curry house it just popped out (the question that is) Somewhat took her, the tables either side, and me a bit by surprise.
