  1. Checked with BATFE Import branch, and no restrictions on the parts. You can post them. Let me know the cost and where to send the payment. Use the above email address (change the dot to . and at to @ , Sorry if you already know that, but best to be sure) Use for the Subject: Greener Parts I will set up a filter to look for the email. Thanks
  2. Fracture7 As far as I know it should not be a probem, but I will check with BATFE import division tomorrow (thursday 28th August). Email me the cost and where to send payment. Email is bob(dot)gehrig(at)gdbarri(dot)com The Trap models were made from 1958 to 1975, not sure when these were made. Serial Numbers on the Trap models are T69484 and T70171 Thanks
  3. I have 4 of them. Two field models and two trap models. All are Mk I with the keeper screws. I am having an isue with one of my Trap models and really want to keep all 4 in working order. Here is a photo of them.
  4. Hi I am in the US and I am seeking the following parts for a Greener GP shotgun. The parts I am seeking are: Trigger Spring Main Spring Trigger Tumbler Tumbler Fulcrum Pin Striker (Firing Pin) Thanks
  5. An update on the Greener Trap Model It started out with a fixed Full Choke Barrel, that I had bored and threaded for screw-in chokes. I then had the gun fitted to me, with the addition of an adjustable pad and adjustable comb. Been Trap Shooting with, and I love it I just shot a 341 out of 400 with this gun. My previous best was 309 out of 400 with my Weatherby O/U. 16 yd 25 24 22 23 25 23 24 21 26 yd 19 18 20 15 21 20 19 22 187 out of 200 from the 16yd and 154 out of 200 from the 26yd Here is a picture of it.
  6. I only plan to shoot Black Powder Shells in this gun. I am saving money to get a nitro proofed double later this year
  7. CBL I found it at the Glendale Az Cabellas in their Gun Room It was US$2000 I got to shot it wednesday on the trap range at 16yds. Once I got used to where it was pointing, start to smoke them clays. Using Federal Paper Hulls trimmed to 2 - 1/2" 2 - 1/2 drams 2F Black Powder 2 1/8" nitro wads on top of powder then a 1 1/2" lubed fiber wad then 1oz #8 shot. This fills the shell perfectly for the roll crimp Love the feel of this gun, it balances well, and swings easy. Will probably just use it for dove on opening day, and the occasional classic double shoot at the range. I was worried about the condition of the barrels, but had it checked out by a gunsmith that has experience in damascus barrels. With the being a 132 years young, I will not be shooting it a lot, but I am glad it is a shooter and not a wall hanger.

  9. Andy My main concern is the age of the gun, an 1878 W.C. Scott BP Proofed hammer gun with damascus barrels. I am looking for a gunsmith in the US that can evaluate this gun for safe use. Anyone on this board that can help, will be much appreciated. Although I would be willing to send it to England if needed. Due to it's age and if the gunsmith thinks it will be OK to use, I was thinking of starting out with a light load, 7/8 oz #8 and same volume of Black Powder, and working up to a 1oz of #8 shot and the same volume of Black Powder as for the 7/8oz, then finally a square load for 1oz #8 shot. Checking the gun for problems after each type of load. If it comes about that the barrels are unsafe, then I will have to start saving to have a new set of barrels made for this gun, it is too nice to just be a wall hanger. Thanks
  10. Hi I am acquiring a 1878 W.C. Scott Side by Side that is Black Powder proofed, and uses 2 1/2" shells. I would like to shoot it. Any advice from black powder shotgun reloaders welcome. I am in the process of finding a gunsmith to have the gun checked out. I am in the USA Plan on using paper hulls and roll crimping the shells. Thanks
  11. I have just acquired a couple of WW Greener GP multichoke shotguns. I am looking for a 1/2 choke for these guns, to round out the set. If you have any chokes for these guns that you are willing to sell, I may be interested in them. I am trying to have two complete sets of chokes for these guns. Thanks
  12. The Benelli, is a great gun, this model is selectable between pump and semi-auto operation. Great if you want to run some special rounds through it, that would not cycle the gun. Lucky I live in Arizona, where you can own just about any firearm. One of these days I will have to empty the safes, and do a photo of all my guns. I think I am at approx 30+ guns. (Shotgun, rifles and handguns) As the saying goes, if you know how many guns you have, you don't have enough. Still looking for a source of Greener GP parts, besides Greener Would like a GP stock, and lever to use on the Trap model. Thanks
  13. Go for it, it it fits you well, you will love it. My only problem with mine is the stock does not fit me well at all, it fits a mates wife just fine, she was blasting clays at 27yd handicap with ease. You could also hunt around a bit, and find a multi-choke model, for not much more. I got two of them for 180 and 200 pounds each. See My new Gun Post for photos of my Trap Model and other shotguns I own.
  14. I am in the process of importing two of the GP models with the Multi-Choke. Hope to have them in a month or so, just awaiting approval of the import. I had started the process of importing them before this fell into my hands. Right now these are my shotguns From the top Beretta 391 3.5 Extrema Weatherby 32" ported O/U W.W. Greener Trap Gun (Martini Action) Benelli M3 with Pistol Grip, Ghost Ring Sights and Mag Extension. (pre H&K) If anyone knows of a source of stocks for these Greener GP guns, let me know, as this one is too short and not enough drop for me. Thanks
  15. Hi My name is Bob, I live in Arizona. Just acquired this gun A W.W. Greener Trap Gun, 30" full choke barrel. I am looking to change the stock, as it is too short for me and has not enough drop. It Patterns well, and is easy to shoot. I have smoked clays at 16 and 27 yds with it. I just added a slipon recoil pad to lengthen the LOP and will try it out with it today, as it seems to be a little more comfortable when I mount it.
