  1. 🙄 I’m assuming other comments are over the medalists heritage. Fact that they are widely known, sold as, registered and exist as the browning medalist I’m not sure what you expect it to be advertised as?! It’s a good reliable solid budget gun at a fair budget price advertised as it is very commonly known as and would’ve been sold as as new. I’m not scamming anyone nor pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes it is registered with firearms department as a browning and always was/is /will be known to be one.
  2. I can check lop and I expect I’ll be up that way within next two or three weeks quite possibly
  3. Investarm folding O/U .410 3" chambers 28"barrels non-ejector Very tidy gun had little use during my ownership which has been a good few years now! £170 ono cert holder only Based in Buckinghamshire- if interested please feel free to message.
  4. Browning medallist 12 guage O/U 28" barrels comes with the standard set of chokes Good condition and very tidy all round selling due to not having been used in years and having a cabinet clear out before I move house. Based in Buckinghamshire, message me if interested. £250 ono Cerificate holder only (obviously)
  5. Sounds like some great advice I’ll look forward to trying both the pubs and the gun shops! Thanks for the info
  6. You ******! Nearly had a bloody heart attack searching frantically for whatever you were on about! Every cloud though- I've now scoured through every gypsie and traveller headline in Lincolnshire and none effect the house haha so thanks?!? Get yourself out shooting something and leave us panicky folk alone! Good one though fair play. Yes we had a lovely flyover from half the RAF when we viewed it! Great to hear its as nice as we found it- so difficult from being out of area and only getting few hours at a time there to try figure it out cant beat local knowledge and opinion. Handy to hear there's a gunshop local! I will have to check that out thanks
  7. Really? Just looking into this and the gyppos appear at nearest in stickney which is a little further away than stickford? Is this a recent description or based from a while ago please feel free to message me to elaborate? Seemed a really quiet little hamlet/village?! editing having looked up recent (year ago) reviews for the pub you mention all 5* quiet lovely pub reviews? Possibly it went downhill then came back up in standards again since you visited?
  8. Evening all, I am currently going through purchasing a property in Lincolnshire just south of the wolds (small place called Keal Cotes if anyone has any advice on that lol)and wondered if there are many members from here around that area? Maybe we could organise a meet up at a clay shoot somewhere nearby for a round and a cuppa once I'm up there as be good to meet some new local people. Looks to be a small shoot right outside what will be my door judging by the cover crop so hopefully will meet some good sporting folk when I move from miserable Buckinghmashire haha
  9. many thanks for the replies it looks a decent bet- im not sure which the guns are E I or B but im guessing E looking at the price. I had no idea all the other "Brands" were made by the rizzinis though so that was an education and sounds like either or should result in a decent purchase for the price. Ive looked up and the place we are headed tomorrow to look has 3 of these makes showing as available so she can look at each one after the other and hopefully one will fit well enough!
  10. Hi guys, I am looking at buying a little 20bore O/U as a starter gun for the other half- she had a go at the cpsa stand at the game fair and did rather well (using the rizzini 20bore there hence my thinking ) and as such I am looking at a cheap (think approx 200-300 quid here) gun for her to learn clay shooting. So....i have found a couple of tidyish looking used rizzini in the very small budget just wondering if anyone has experience positive or negatives on these budget guns? Im not expecting anything groundbreaking for the money just a safe reliable useable gun to get her going. Also considered KOFS ATA, used lanber used lincoln all around similar money rizzini current front runner because i know it fitted to some extent! All comments welcome and appreciated!
  11. nicely done those birds looked to be perfect flighting target really presented themselves well and looks like you made the most of it. well done
  12. A short video of my endeavours over last season to bag some wild duck. Definitely saw the most ducks I ever have around my area last year which was so good to see and enjoyed a few successes in my pursuit of them!
  13. Thanks for the reassurance I thought it’d probably be ok but was worth checking in case I should do something differently but I will just carry on as we were and forget it happened lol thanks all 👍🏼
  14. So just had a bit of a nightmare. My pup was left wondering about the garden (which is all normal) but she’s somehow got hold of a live pigeon! She’s 6months old but yet to move onto cold game retrieves. The pigeon can’t of been in her control for more than a minute or two and was still very much alive when taken off the dog but she had definitely “played” with it. What do you guys think? Will this have done her any harm longterm? Probably panicking over nothing but you know what it’s like! Thanks
  15. Never knew fieldfare were red list! I’m well covered with residential lapwing, skylark, fieldfare, starling, both sparrows and a few more 👌🏼But handy to have the applicable species clear in your minds in case it ever got questioned 👍🏼
  16. The red dot you see is on the camera i use to show point of aim- it is not visible in "real world" to me or anyone/thing whilst im out shooting- purely on the recording and can be changed to a crosshair picture or a couple others.
  17. Thanks for watching and the feedback. I really need to get back into the swing of them its just finding the time! ive got some footage by me so hopefully not too ling to wait til the next one 👍
  18. thanks, I am indeed using both-it gets a bit cluttered in the hide on a busy day with batteries and cables and remembering to press record 🙄 but i think the different viewpoints achievable are worth the hassle. chokes are 3/4 in both cartridges (let me get my tin hat) are lyalvale pigeon power 29g 6 and gamebore velocity 28g 7 1/2s Ah awesome! let me see what i can get on the next one mate 👍
  19. appreciate mate. I laughed at the comment- nearly every video I've put up (all with music) received comments not liking it so tried it without just to see I think it really is a 50/50 audience so cant please everyone all the time. thanks for watching and if you haven't already check out my others (music aplenty in them haha)
  20. Hi all, another short video from me of a nice modest mornings work making a start on the corvids. Some actually decoyed brilliantly in the early morning light which made for a cold (-1) but enjoyable hours shooting but more importantly a few corvids that wont be multiplying this year. Have a watch and please do subscribe to my channel for more. Stay safe and good shooting.
  21. nice shooting and video buddy- again id love to see the dog work too all part of the day! good job👍
  22. Something to remind us of the good warm days we enjoyed even in this year! Shot a day over wheat stubble in the sunshine and heat of summer where it all came together for a cracking day. The flightlines stayed busy-hectic at times and i even managed to hit a few! also meet my new team member at the end of the video! hope you are all keeping well and enjoy the video!
