  1. Cheers started using little groups of about half a dozen and so far so good, birds have responded to them
  2. Might sound like a stupid question but does anyone use decoys at Lindisfarne? if so how do you use them in strings or singular, how many etc.?
  3. No my koalas are neoprene to the toes and cosy warm
  4. If I've got a walk out, I tend to role them down like trousers, as you do get hot, but that's the same as any clothing in winter so you don't get cold through sweating to much. I put my stuff in a rucksack till I get to me spot, I then cool off then redress, all weather permitting . I can see the point of ruining expensive kit in such harsh conditions. I will be out to Lindisfarne next week so they will get plenty of stick there
  5. http://www.koalaproducts.co.uk/waders I bought some off these for 40 quid a couple of years since cheap and have done the job perfectly. Mind they stink when you first get them
  6. cheers for the info ill be having a look up over the next week or so lets hope this wind continues blowing well at the mo. not sure where depends on me dogs leg and the weather on the day
  7. Anyone know if there is anything about at lindisfarnne at the mo. I've got a break and I'm hoping to get up within the next week. Haven't been since early Nov so hoping for an Xmas goose. My mate up there who does webs counts reckons there are still a few duck about but geese are patchy
