They are popular with the air rifle HFT boys and are only suitable for recoilless rifles due to the very short eye relief. I have had a quick look through one mounted to someone else's rifle as I am considering one and eye relief on them can be tricky if you wear glasses (i do), and I could get a good comfortable focus on the reticle. I already have one "normal" viper fitted to one of my air rifles and really like it for the money, the MTC scopes seem to suit my eyes better than the hawk's I've looked through. I'm impressed enough to seriously consider buying one when funds allow and one comes up for the right money. It may be some time though as I really fancy a 725 protrap, and those aren't cheap. Try looking on airgunbbs for real world user experiences, as a few guys on their own them.

Don't forget amazon as well, my last upgrade (i7, motherboard 16GB ram and a SSD) worked out cheaper from amazon than from aria, scan or overclockers whom would have usual been my first choices.

AA cover through the bank (lloyds) as part of my account. Had to call on them twice, both times with me easily under an hour, and text messaged to let me know when they where 10 minutes out along with the name of the "AA man". I can't fault the service, but I would probably be with another provider if it wasn't included as a benefit as part of my account, my insurance company offers a discount on Green Flag (I think) so I would probably have gone that way.

In theory yes, in practise very little chance as most card transactions are not processed instantly so it would most probably be caught either by the bank issuing the card or the merchant account before the money got offshore. The best and most sensible pieces of advice I have ever been given about cards is, don't let them out of your site when paying for something in a shop or restaurant. A card is most likely to get skimmed when they think you can't see them swiping a card through a malicious card skimmer. And if something looks off at ATM machine (or pay at pump) move on and find another.

Most new cards are been issued with it. I'm not sure you'll be able to ask for one without it, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask. RFID blocking wallets are cheap enough, if it really worries you. I've been using one for a couple of years now.

It's not quite as simple as that, getting hold of a merchants account isn't as simple as people think and suspicious transactions can just as easily get a merchant account stopped as a abnormal spend pattern on a member of the public's card. And then there's the issue of funds clearing into a merchants bank account, and back out and turned into cash before the banks notice what is going on. Ideally if your going to do this you would need an account with a bank that is a know fast clearer of cash for card transactions, and would need a bit of custom hardware to randomise the ammounts been charged against the cards to allow you more time before the banks inbuilt fraud protection kicked in. I'm not saying that it can't/won't happen, it's just no as easy as people think.

I got called up around 15 years ago did my bit for two weeks, then was called up again eleven and a half months after my first jury service, but if you are called up within the year you can/could decline without issue. Looking at the rate of compensation they don't appear significantly different from when I was on jury service, they really need revising, or you should have the opportunity to claim your daily rate with appropriate proof been required. On the plus side, it was fascinating to see how a court (in England, I believe it's slightly different in Scotland?) works in reality as opposed to what you see on TV, and I bumped into someone I went to school with who was serving on a different jury whom I hadn't seen since I left school.

I have one, cycles 24 gram and up shells, easy to strip and clean and very soft shooting. Like tomady says it's a 3" chamber, so no 3.5" shells, but shouldn't be much of a problem unless you are intending to go wild fowling with it, saying that there are plenty of good 3" loads now.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, even though I shot poorly Currently trying to sort things out at work so I'll be off call that weekend... Time to start talking to a few others at work, see if I can get them to sign up to the forum and go to the shoot.
