:( Currently have .243 and with 100g federals have been taking my fair share of deer, roe, munty and fallow. Have arranged to get a red stag soon and have put in variation for .308 on the strength of that(feo says no probs so will be shopping soon) Have a mate loading some awsome 70g bts and they are a great fox round, not to mention the way they perform on the range!! But basically .243 will do what you need till you get something special for the african stuff ATB Edd

Just had a new aquaintance offer me a Denton and Kennell silverpoint. I dont particularly want it as i have too many guns and not the use for this particular one. Its in reasonable nick, probably benefit from an overhaul, i.e oil the stock and reblue the barrells but its not been knocked about. It comes with two sets of barrells, 30" and 26 i think but i didnt measure. Anyone interested in having a look/making him an offer? As i said,I dont want it but someone might. They are on guntrader between 295 and 1450 so a massive range. Said i would see if anyone was interested for him so pm me if you are. Cheers Edd

What type of ground/shooting you are primarily looking for (pigeon, rabbit,corvid...) Someone here will surely know. Have been stalking for a few days and am a little worried about lymes disease. Definately have a few tick bites and just reading up on the symptoms of Lymes i seem to have a few. Bite marks, sore back/neck and possibly swollen glands. I am definately going to the doctors in the morning BUT...I normally react to any sort of bite quite a lot, i have just crried a rather heavy gun around on my shoulder for a few days(possibly explaining the neck) and I have been suffering from a cold/hayfever (possibly explaining the glands) What do you guys think?? Is it to soon for the symptons, an i just being paranoid? Edd

Hi guys, I am going to be in staying at the above pub all next week. I stayed there before and met up with apw member for a beer (or 4). Can anyone tell me what other pubs are near and which are any good. Also does anyone know anyone who might be able to offer any pigeon and or rabbit shooting in the area next week? Having spent Thursday morning with Lez325 shooting in the general direction of some bunnies (that was my shooting not Les') I am totally converted to the hmr. I eventually bagged a few myself with the .22 but the ranges that the HMR is capable of have changed my opinion from ''the .22 is plenty and there is no need for the noisy, expensive and pointless Hmr'' to ''what a great piece of kit and a must have'' So im looking for a 17hmr full set up, gun scope mod... Havnt really set a budget yet but being poor am looking for a bargain I like cz generally but am open to suggestion. Anyone got anything they're looking to sell? Thanks in advance Edd
