  1. I might be wrong but I was under the impression it was still an approved anti-parasitic. If there was strong evidence it was effective in the treatment of Covid they’d find a way, trouble is nobody has proved it is have they? The steroid dexamethasone has been off-patent since 1977, it costs pennies and they’re using that! But hey, it’s all just a big pharma conspiracy to get rich and keep you sick right? 🤔 🙄
  2. Good article but no doubt someone will be along to debunk that in a bit but they won’t be able to share a peer reviewed and accepted randomised trial that supports its use either 🙄 I find it incredible that people are quick to refuse vaccines that have been properly trialled but they’re happy to take worming pills that haven’t, it makes zero sense. If Ivermectin was effective and safe in the treatment of Covid it would be prescribed, to suggest otherwise is insulting to the medical and scientific community.
  3. Start with a Merkur HD Classic & Feather blades, they are by far the best blades. Use a badger brush and start off with Proraso soap or cream. Then when you’ve had plenty of practice look at getting an open comb razor like an Muhle R41 for a seriously good shave. If you really want to it to the next level then look at trying a straight razor, it takes a while to learn but it’s very satisfying. The straight razor brand I’d recommend is Thiers Issard but do your homework, not all are suitable for beginners.
  4. Nice, but consider using a 20 MOA rail anyway, it will let you stay a bit closer to the optical centre of your glass.
  5. Decent rifles. It depends what you want it for really but they've been rather popular amongst Gallery Rifle competitors.
  6. I'm in a F30 330D Xdrive at the moment and absolutely love it. My daily commute is a 60 mile round trip with a good amount of city driving thrown in at each end and I'm still getting an average of 42mpg! That's pretty damn good for a car with that much power, I think I'd struggle to find a better balance between power and economy. The best it's averaged was 56.9mpg on a drive up to Catterick and I wasn't exactly hanging about. The ZF8 auto box is absolutely brilliant, had some reservations about getting an 'auto' at first but wouldn't go back now. Best all round car I've ever had.
  7. It might help to know where you are. Also, you should be able to find out a bit more about the discipline and find a club here -> http://www.ukpsa.co.uk/
  8. I don't think everyone would have resorted to violence in that situation however angry it made you feel at the time. On that basis, it will probably be a no but you'll never know if you don't ask. Might be worth giving your local FEO a quick call to discuss your situation, they're usually more helpful than some would lead you to believe.
  9. Q. "How do you tell if someone's a Vegan?" A. "They'll tell you!" 😂
  10. Perhaps, but they'd have to find it first!
  11. I used to enjoy shooting there too but found the chap that ran it was a bit arsey at times, especially towards the end and the layout didn't change very often. Seem to remember he put his pension fund into the business so that would probably explain his demeanour. That said, it's never good to see a ground close like that.
  12. Yeah decent kit but I completely agree, the screws were a joke. I mounted mine with some threadbar and anchor resin instead Wouldn't use it for a front door key, but hidden away in the house and used for a gunsafe key seemed a pretty good solution. And you'd probably have more luck getting into most gun cabinets than one of these things, they're quite tough.
  13. The one I have doesn't have a key, it's a combination button job. 😁 https://keysafe.co.uk/products/key-safes/police-accredited/p500-police-approved-keysafetm.html
  14. Get a proper key safe and bolt it to a wall somewhere, as others have said the cheap keypad 'safes' are hopelessly insecure.
  15. That's not entirely accurate, even as a trained private he'd be on just shy of £19k and if married he'd be able to claim for married quarters and the rent for that would be a LOT less than he'd pay for a private rent.
  16. I think you can point a lot of the blame at Capita and the totally inept recruitment system they delivered and run. It took 9 months from the day my lad applied to finally starting his training at Catterick and that was with him pushing them every step of the way, it was error after error all the way. If it takes that long to get lads through the door it's hardly surprising some get disilusioned and give up.
  17. Quite an interesting, albeit brief, analysis of our contries cultural differences. Thanks
  18. I class him as an ignorant troll who would best serve the rest of the shooting community by rolling his SGC & FAC up and shoving them up his own back passage.
