  1. Crumbs, you are right, spoke to a couple of RFD off another site. Anyway, I have definitely spoken to him now, he hasn't got any but says he will check with Importer. May be able to do some other business with him for centrefire ammo as well. Cheers 👍
  2. I think I may have my wires crossed here. I rang your contact and he couldn't help (by all means ask again for me). It is Highland Outdoors who cant be bothered to answer my email! Cheers
  3. Still no reply!!! I have an aversion to chasing by any means when I am trying to spend money with a company and get ignored, but I guess I'll have to chase somehow, as I can't find the ammo anywhere!!
  4. It seems they can't be bothered to answer my email!!!!!
  5. Thanks for that but Westlander are no longer Aguila!
  6. Hi Anyone tell me who the Winchester & Aguila Rimfire Ammunition Importer/Distributer is please? Much appreciated.
  7. Appreciate the responses but I'm only looking for the ammo I listed. Does anyone know anywhere I can get them please? Thanks! 👍🙂 Always useful to look at these sort of charts! Not sure how old that is, there are some notable omissions, and of course it refers to rifle barrel energy figures! Speed and energy change a lot out of a 2.75inch pistol barrel, hence why I want to do some real life testing with the ammo I listed. Cheers.👍👍
  8. ????????????? I'm looking for overall power/energy, not just speed. The CCI Velocitors that I already use are more powerful than the Stingers.
  9. Hi Everyone. I could really do with your help please! I'm after some of these, please note it's the 40g 1435FPS version. I'm also looking for some of these.... Preferably the Hollow Point, but I'll be happy to find either. Can Anyone help please, where can I find these please? Aguila appears to be having UK stock issues, and to be honest I've never seen the Winchester. These are for a Pistol, I need to check energy, we don't actually import anything that could be called Self Defence Pistol .22LR into the UK, all the stuff is target. I need this for Humane Dispatch. At the low end of the energy scale I don't have any issues, at the Top end I use CCI Velocitors, there is a suggestion I may get a hint more energy from the ammo here. Barrel is only 2.75inches, so VERY little powder burn time! I'm just trying to find the top energy I can get from my .22LR pistol. I have other calibres to deal with other situations! Many thanks! http://www.gameandvermincontrol.co.uk/
  10. Ok, so the one and only chance I had has issues now, and cant help anymore. So still looking for someone who has pipe benders and knows their way around them!! I'm happy to pay or offer benefits in kind! Thanks
  11. Not Yet, still looking for someone to help me, but certainly a possibility.
  12. Have done and it works to an extent, hence why I thought someone with a decent pipe bender who knew what they were doing could finish the job. Despite what looks like a bit of a bend on the small stanchion, I think it only need a slight bend on 2 stanchions and the handrail further forward and this will come out!
  13. No need if I can find someone with a pipe bender, but even if I did, and took everything off the boat, I really need a pipe bender to resolve the issues anyway! 👍
  14. They are some sort of stainless rivet!!! I thought the same myself, first look they did seem like Allen key, unfortunately not!
  15. I measured it at about 26mm, could be 25mm, are there standards in sizes, if so I guess its 25mm. I know nothing in this area, if it was 26mm, what happens if you use a pipe bender close in size but not exact???
  16. Unfortunately not, the GRP (Gelcoat anchorage) is not up to it. Must be direct pressure on the stainless steel only!!
  17. I need someone near Reading who has a decent Pipe bender and knows how to use it please. My boat has had a coming together, and a couple of stanchions and the handrail are bent!! This is gentle work, there is nothing dramatic to do here, but I don't have a Pipe bender and I don't have any experience using one. The way I see it, 2 tall stanchions and the hand rail need a tweak, the small stanchion visible in the 3rd picture is only leaning in because of the bends to the tall stanchions and handrail further forward! It is Stainless steel (so quite hard) and best I can measure seems about 26mm diameter. The boat is near Sonning (Near Reading) on the Thames. I'm happy to pay for someone's expertise, or offer a day out on the boat in exchange. Can you help please? Please PM or reply here!! Thank you.
  18. Not in my garden this time, at my local filling station. What is going on, ok we have all seen daylight fox but they are turning up all over at the moment, this was 12.58. Another rough looking animal with virtually no fear! First pic as I was actually filling the car (he is the middle, you may need to enlarge), then I zoomed in a bit, then as I was driving out!! .....and he didn't seem bothered/interested in the Magpies!!!
  19. Its very public in the pictures I have posted, and the land in the field belongs to the Council. The foxes NEVER go into my back garden. Its a problem!
  20. Talk about creatures of habit, got home at 13.33 today and who was sitting there waiting for me, same fox again. Identical time to last sighting!! Condition still terrible, obviously mange, bare skin visible in part, and just look at the tail!!! First sighting Enlargement of First sighting Strolling off!!

  22. It isn't going to be ALL electric. This is a common falacy. That is most certainly the direction the Government seems to be pushing us, but there are other options which remain totally legal, ask Jim Radcliffe! There are many hurdles of manufacturer and disposal of the batteries which are being pushed to one side at the moment, they are nasty things, and are nowhere near as environmentally friendly as we are being told. Recharging is a joke, especially in very built up areas with large numbers of Terrace and High Rise properties. And of course the electricity has to be made, currently with fossil fuels, gas and Nuclear, with a relatively small amount through wind/water/solar/etc, so that is hardly environmentally friendly either. Wherever we end up, Electric is NOT currently the UNIVERSAL answer, there are many hurdles to be overcome yet, technology may well make it viable in future, but far too many pitfalls to make it the answer currently. FAST chargers may well help you get back on the road quicker, but will destroy your battery pack faster!! And lets not forget the inflated initial outlay!!!!
