  1. I bought the mincer off eBay for about 50 quid. This model is a ciatronic I think. It does the job, but doesn't work great with the sinews in rabbit legs.
  2. Cheers fella. Heading out on the blacks on Saturday, so hopefully another will follow next week.
  3. Thanks for taking the time to record, edit & post the video, it takes. Lot of time & I appreciate it. Don't want to be critical, as I quite often shoot with 2 people in a hide. If you look at my videos we normally take it in turns. If we are both shooting then we must be clear which birds we are taking. Some of the shots in your video looked iffy, but then again I wasn't there. Hopefully you can take the points from others on board. Keep the vids coming!!!
  4. Yeah the novice was the one in the middle. He pulls off some good shots & then misses some easy ones. He enjoys it though. Thanks for the good feedback, I have shot better than I did that day but I enjoyed it which is the main thing. Cheers al, if you weren't having craic with your mates it's time to stop. How's the pheasants coming on? Cheers cranners.
  5. Look well, more importantly how did they taste?
  6. Bit of a delay getting this video up. From 12th September on wheat stubble. It was quite a wet morning followed by high winds, but we got out about midday & shot until 5pm. There were 3 of us shooting & there was mighty craic between us. One of my mates has only taken up shooting this year, so he had quite a few misses. I had to edit some of the misses from all of us or the video woulda been half an hour long. Shooting could have been better by all of us but I am blaming the windy weather for this 😜. Final bag was 60 feral pigeons, 45 woodpigeons & 22 mixed corvids. Thanks for watching:
  7. Woodpigeon Bolognese, worth a try:
  8. Can be quite difficult to use up all the pigeons after a successful day decoying, so I thought I would make myself some Bolognese out of the breasts. Below is a short video of how I do it. Really tasty and a good way to mix up your pigeon dishes. Thanks for watching.
  9. Thanks for the advice lads. I'll be getting one soon. Is it difficult linking the sausages or are you better just twisting them?
  10. Have you had an encounter with antis?
  11. Glad the strap arrived. Looking forward to the videos.
  12. Cheers, was 105 pigeons (ferals & woodies) & 22 crows. Try & get it up for the weekend.
  13. Cheers mate Thanks for the kind words. I suppose you are getting excited about the World Cup coming up?
  14. Thanks for sharing. A few cracking shots on there. Keep them coming!!!
  15. Good video. I would never dream of having the car that close to the hide, does it not put them off?
  16. Cheers lads. We had a good red letter day on Saturday, so a better video coming up later in the week.
  17. Only got around to editing this video from a couple of weeks ago. It was on a large field of rape stubble. The field was full of pigeons whenever we arrived but unfortunately they never really returned. Shot a small bag, but at least the sun was shining. Thanks for looking. 18. I think most game meat is too lean, you need to add pork fat to it.
  19. What about one like this: Sanven COMMERCIAL 5 LITER ALL STAINLESS STEEL SAUSAGE FILLER MINCE MEAT STUFFING MAKER https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J2J4UMY/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_EIk8vbDRRE1MA At this time of year I always have surplus pigeon breasts, so does pigeon meat lend itself to sausages?
  20. I recently got employee of the month at work & got a £250 amazon voucher. I was thinking about buying a sausage maker to make some sausages out of the game I shoot. My questions are, how difficult are they to make? Is it worth the effort? Does anyone know a decent sausage maker that is user friendly? I already have a mincer to mince the meat, but it doesn't have a sausage stuffer.
  21. Good video & your shooting seemed fine to me. Your dog did you proud. That was a good showing of ducks.
  22. Great shooting, you were leading some of those birds a great deal. Just subscribed to your YouTube channel.
